"A good budget option for a family or small group. About half an hours walk to the city centre and you can use the walls for part of that which is nice. Self check in via key box is very convenient and they sent a list of shops/restaurants etc which was also nice. Towels and sheets are professionally laundered which I appreciated. "The only negative about our experience is that we could stay for only 3 days. The property was perfect - the location was near the train station, and within a moderate walk from most everything we wanted to do in York. Paul was an excellent host, anticipating virtually all of our needs and addressing them ahead of time. The home was clean, comfortable and lacked nothing."

Comfortable and convenient.

"Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Easy to walk to from the railway station. Easy also to walk onto York centre to do tourist attractions. Loved the restaurant on the roof terrace. The downstairs restaurant was also excellent for dinner and for breakfast. We paid a little more for a club room which had a generous seating area and a city view."

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Cedar Court where all the staff, both at reception and throughout the restaurant, were extremely helpful and informative about what was available in and around Harrogate. "The hotel was nice enough to hold our two large suitcases, while we travelled to Edinburgh. I don't think we would have survived Edinburgh if we had to carry around that baggage. Weird thing with return was that the room was a ways from our previous room, but was bigger with a nice bathtub."
