"Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE."

Jim was the perfect host, available via text message throughout our stay, helping us survive a power outage and 5’ of snow. The generator kicked in right away and the heaters kept us warm and dry. Jim even came to help shovel us out once the snow stopped. It was a fun adventure!"
