「Would stay again」

「Nice room, comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast,helpful friendly staff. Close to SUNY Oswego 」

「Clean room, convenient parking around back once you get a key card, secure doors. Didn’t use the fridge, microwave, pool, gym or gas grill. Complete breakfast, hot and cold selections were all good. Friendly people, good location.」

「The bed was very comfortable. I found the place a little dark, as all the windows are up in the front part by the kitchen. The kitchen worked out really well - had everything i needed! It was cold, damp and windy, and then snowed, so did not spend much time outside. I think I would love sitting in the yard or on the front porch in warmer weather. 「My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was how the bathroom was laid out. You have to get into the shower to turn it on, and outside of the shower the towel bar is placed higher than most I have encountered. Also I am not a fan of bowl sinks. However - the rest of the room was very nicely planned , and very clean. I had not been in years, and it was nice to see the property restored so well. I would definitely come back. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. 」

「We were originally booked at Capt Inn & Suites and since they were closing prior to our booked reservation, we were moved to Thomson’s Resort. Thomson’s exceeded my expectations. It was really decorated nicely decorated and felt homey. The view off the balcony of Boldt Castle was spectacular as well! My only two critiques was that our room was located up 26 stairs and we weren’t told that ahead of time. I have a bad back so the stairs weren’t helpful and we tried to avoid going in and out...

「Amazing weekend getaway. Good heating, not noisy.No traffic noise. Lovely electric fireplace with a little hum (which might be annoying to some people) and jettub. Excellent bedding. Microwave and fridge/freezer included. The Sunday brunch buffet is very varied, highly recommended. Although maybe it was only because of Mother's Day, I didn't actually tried their Saturday evening buffet.」
