Cozy updated Las Palmas Family Paradise Retreat

This recently updated 1,200-square-foot condo has all the comfortable furnishings needed to feel right at home, yet still on vacation. It features two large bedrooms and two baths. The master suite has a king-size bed with smart TV, a roll-away twin bed, and balcony access. The second bedroom has a queen bed, bunk bed, and a smart TV. This condo has a complete kitchen that offers a breathtaking view to inspire and soothe while providing everything you need to cook and entertain, including stainless steel appliances, a microwave, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. The open-concept family and dining areas include a wood-burning fireplace, table and chairs, air conditioning, and a 48" flat-screen TV with cable. There is also a full-size washer and dryer and a large patio with a barbecue grill. Bring the family for games, puzzles, and fun times for all! Las Palmas is a wonderful family resort offering numerous amenities for the vacationer in us all. This condo, #408, is a second floor end unit located in building 4 that backs up to the beautiful views of the mesas and red rocks in St. George. The property features six pools, a heated indoor pool, kiddie pool, diving pool, lap pool, hot tubs, a mini golf area, fitness gym, pickle ball and basketball courts, tennis, an on-site roller rink, a ninja gym, and walking trails. Bring your outdoor vehicles and ride them onto the trails adjacent to the property. These amenities will surely entertain a variety of ages for hours and you will not be disappointed when you walk into this gorgeous home away from home.

A delight

Condo was clean and decorated. It had everything we needed. It was well stocked with basic condiments and seasonings if needed. The balcony has a great view and was peaceful. The second bedroom doesn’t have great airflow, but there were a couple fans available that helped us stay comfortable. The pools on the resort are great! I would certainly stay here again.

What a view from the balcony! I couldn’t ask for anything different here. Great location, great pools and the condo had everything you need, even the little stuff in the kitchen like foil and cooking spray that a lot of places don’t stock.

Not a lot of frills - just an absolutely perfect experience. Never said ‘gee, wish I had this’. All the necessary items that showed how thoughtful the hosts put this together. All the meaningful things that completed the stay. I look to return next year!!

Needs cleaning

There was a musty smell to the place. It looked clean from far away, but up close it needed a good cleaning. The bathrooms are dingy and the previous renters left towels in the washer. Which makes me wonder if anything was actually cleaned in between renters….kinda grossed me out afterwards. I wished I had seen them the first day and not as we were leaving and trying to follow protocol and put our towels in the washer and not at the beginning.

Disappointed golfers

This is our fourth time staying in this unit. i am not sure what has happened in the last two years but the condo is no longer accommodating! The unit is old and the infrastructure is dereriating. The air conditioning won't cool below 78 degrees and it was 105 degrees the week we stayed there. The latch on the dishwasher was broken, one of the knobs on the barbecue didn't work and the seats on two of the chairs on the outside patios were starting to break. The television would intermittently go off and on periodically . The kitchen was minimally stocked and didn't include basic items such as placemats, baggies or tin foil. We only had two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom for 6 days, 5 nights. We paid extra money to use the Green Valley spa pool and tennis area but we're only provided 6 passes for 4 people for a 5 night stay. That doesn't even make sense! We contacted the owner about the major items and she indicated that she was aware of the broken items but didn't seemed responsive and said that that was the way the kitchen was stocked. Finally, it took us almost 3 weeks to get our security deposit back and only after we called to remind her of the money owed to us. We use to love this place but will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone!

Our stay was great! This condo is nice and clean. I wish there had been a little more communication about the amenities that Las Palmas offered - perhaps a book with info in the condo. Overall, it was a very accommodating for our family.

We loved our stay!!

This was a very comfortable condo to stay in...the perfect size for 4 people. Its location is great and the activities at the resort were fun. It had everything we were looking for. My only suggestion would be to add some ceiling fans. Even though the a/c unit works awesome, I really love the movement of air that ceiling fans provide. Overall, its a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Thank You!!

We came for a dance competition.The location was great and price was just right. We enjoyed the pool and the views off the balcony.Would definitely return. Door was tricky we can in late and was worried we weren’t going to be able to get in. Also tricky locking Host didn’t respond until the next morning.

Great place to stay in St George

Weekend stay

Clean and plenty of room. We have stayed at Las Palamos several times and love it. The only problem this time was that 2 big pools were closed for the weekend. That was very disappointing since we were planning on swimming. Other than that it was great.
