"Beautiful decor and comfortable rooms. Not the prettiest surrounding area, but still very good value for money, considering it's a 20 min tube ride to Kings Cross. The Chromecast feature on the TV did not work, even after maintenance attempted to fix it twice. Neither the TV in the living area nor the bedroom TV would appear as casting options in the Netflix or Disney+ apps on my phone. This is not something that typically bothers me in hotels, as I'm usually abroad and too occupied to watch TV. However, as I'm actually from London, I was hoping to have some time to relax in the hotel and catch up on shows. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the option to watch TV, so it was frustrating that this did not work as advertised. The room was also incredibly warm. It averaged around 17 degrees outside during my stay, but the thermostat in the room showed that the room averaged around 25.5 degrees. This was just about okay, but I would avoid this hotel during the peak of summer. The in-built fan created more noise than cool air. Apart from the issues with the TV and the room being too warm, the hotel was otherwise very pleasant. I wouldn't stay during the summer, but would return in the winter, if the TV issues are resolved."

"The rooms in Adagio are absolutely brilliant. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Reminded me of a pricy skiing apartment in France. Location is vibrant but you're 15 minutes walk from the City of London. "

"Conveniently right next to the Underground makes it easy to hop on the train to wherever you’re going. The hotel and room was pretty basic, had some scuffs on the wall but was clean. There wasn’t a microwave or coffee maker in the room but had a kettle. No noise from the train. And a noon check out time."

"Room is wonderful but if you have mobility issues ask for handicapped because tub is extremely high. No luggage rack. Now the food was just awful other than breakfast. No food service other than breakfast on Sunday. So good luck finding a dinner because nothing available in the hood. Eli the step down restaurant doesn’t serve sandwiches or fries but the special of the day was trout belly with rice. I had a pasta dish and a salad comprised mainly of baby arugula you would be surprised at the cost but portion was similar to a tasting menus. Advice to owners hire a chef who will cook fish and chips and Shepherds Pie. Then bar was attached to the reservations, only restaurant so if you wanted to come and have a gin and tonic you felt out of place in tennis shoes. Hotel staff consisted of very nice, hard working people but I didn’t have interaction with most of them, HOWEVER at checkout you will find the mandatory service charge which was explained as tipping the staff! I tip for service. They added on taxes well beyond what I paid for when booking. Take a pass and stay in a tourist area."

"Great stay! Well located close to stations with great links into London. The staff were great, the accomodation was clean, tidy and the bed comfortable. The only feed back was some drain unblocking is required as the sink and shower in room 107 was back filling a lot."
