Located in the heart of downtown Spokane, The Lilac City Lofts are the perfect balance between urban living and all the comforts you'd find at home. These thoughtfully renovated apartments offer 13ft ceilings, modern decor, and high-end finishings.

This historical building has 4 newly renovated lofts that are built with your comfort in mind and offer the ideal city retreat.
Located on the second floor (23 steps).

As hosts, we want to give back. That's why a percentage of each booking will be donated to our trusted nonprofit partners. This includes donating meals, planting trees, and supporting local youth programs. With this commitment, we’ll be able to help more individuals, families, and communities rebuild their homes, schools, and lives.

The lofts are accessed from the street with a secured remote-accessed lock. For your safety and convenience, there is also 24/7 surveillance and a security guard nearby until 4 am.

Upon booking, each guest will have their own unique access codes to the main door and their separate apartment door that are only good for the duration of their stay.


You'll have access to the main door entry, foyer, individual unit, all bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and your laundry room.

We are available for any questions or concerns that may arise to ensure you have the most care-free stay possible. If you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you and your guests!

Riverfront Park and downtown is a quick and easy 5-minute walk away. Feel free to stop in any of the trendy restaurants and cafes you'll find on the way. Some of our favorites include Indaba Coffee Cafe, Revival Tea Company Lounge, or Method Juice Bar which all offer cozy urban spaces to relax with friends, or to bring your laptop and get some work done!

You'll find that everything in downtown Spokane is in walking distance!

-5 min walk to Riverfront Park which offers gondola rides, an ice skating ribbon, and beautiful trails for walking or jogging.
-5 min walk to the downtown mall where you'll find shops like Lulu Lemon, NorthFace, Urban Outfitters, just to name a few. Plus tons of locally owned shops as well!
-2 min walk to Spokane Comedy Club
-5 min walk to Indaba Coffee and Method Juice Bar
-10 min walk to Saranac Commons filled with local shops and eateries
-8 min to the Spokane Convention Center
-10min walk to the heart of the "nightlife" & bar scene. Go check out the city's most lively bars: Fast Eddies, Barrachos Tequileria, The Globe, Boombox Karaoke Bar, and many more!

Uber/Lyft will come right up to the door.

Being in the middle of downtown, there comes the typical hustle and bustle you'd expect to find. We don't have designated parking spots, but our guests normally don't have a problem finding parking nearby.

We have the coolest exposed ceilings and brick in this unit that really showcases the rustic design and historic charm. Sometimes these ceilings have some sawdust that falls from them from time to time. Therefore if you do find anything that looks like sand when you first arrive, it has fallen after our cleaning team had a chance to sweep it up. But don't worry! It's just a little dust ;)

NOTE: This property have exterior cameras and a camera in the foyer.

IMPORTANT:
To ensure peace of mind during your stay, we offer two options for damage protection: a small, one-time non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver (our most convenient and guest-preferred option) or a fully refundable Security Deposit, returned after your stay if no damage is reported. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll be prompted to complete this step.

Let’s start with a few basics:

How to stay like a local:
There are so many awesome things to see, do, eat, and drink just steps away from your Rental Unit.

That being said, to help you have the best stay possible, we have a few tips for your stay.

1. You’re living like a local, be respectful of the other locals.

2. All of our Rental Units are smoke-free environments. Including the entire Rental property.

3. Pets are NOT allowed in this Rental Unit for any reason. Bringing an unauthorized pet will result in the immediate termination of your reservation without a refund.

4. Your trip details should already be complete. If they aren’t, just go ahead and message us!

5. Your friend, your responsibility. Pretty simple: if you invite them to your Rental Unit, you’re responsible for their actions.

6. There are occupancy limits Roav Stays must follow for each of our buildings. Help us follow the rules.

7. We’re here to help! Roav Stays is managed locally. If you have any questions at all feel free to message us!

FEE SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN: (all charges in $USD, unless otherwise noted)

Unauthorized Late Check Out : $25 dollars each half hour after check-out time. Up to the cost of any impacted nights subsequent to originally scheduled check-out

Smoking in Room/Common Area:
$200 minimum charge and eviction from the Unit

Excessive Cleaning: Up to $125.00 per hour of additional cleaning needed

Damaged or Missing Items: Varies depending on cost of item

Noise Complaints: potential warning issued or, if necessary, eviction with no refund and a charge of up to $1,000.00

Party in Unit or Common Area: Up to $2,000.00 plus any damages to Roav Stays

Unauthorized pets: $150/day

Great units

Four families rented all four units. All units were as advertised. Jake was good host and receptive to requests (extra towels) etc. It is walkable to most of downtown. Downside is it’s near area with homeless/transient population.

Great Interior Space!

The rental was clean and charming inside! It is a fun, downtown style. Owners were very accommodating and flexible when I needed to make a last minute change. A well organized rental group!

Beautiful condo

Modern and Comfortable Downtown

The apartment was exactly as advertised. Beautifully decorated and recently renovated. Fully outfitted kitchen including coffee beans (nice touch) for some morning brew. Also, a nice touch was the white noise maker, which was nice since there is some expected street noise especially on a weekend night downtown. Be prepared to pay for parking -- up to $22/day in a nearby garage. Sometimes had difficulty with communication -- which was not solely the fault of the proprietor but could be improved nonetheless. Questions sent via the app to the proprietor weren't answered quickly. We needed to contact via the phone for answers, and that was sometimes difficult. We had poor audio quality with the phone calls, where we couldn't hear the person on the other end.

Downtown Spokane Apartment

The Good: A beautifully modernized apartment, good proximity to all Spokane offers. Comfortable beds, clean. The Not-so-Good: Noisy for us. Street below had a lot of activity until 2:30am. Mariachi music below (kitchen/cleaning staff in restaurant maybe?) lasted from ~4:30am to 5:30am. Kitchen amenities were sparce but I think that is because it is relatively new- few kitchen towels, no dish drainer, limited utensils, place settings, pots/pans, no spices including salt and pepper.

Clean, spacious and comfortable!

My group was staying in Spokane for a couple of days for a friend's wedding. The unit was exactly what we were looking for and was steps away from many restaurants and bars. Jake was a great host and communicated in a polite and timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

Unsanitary

Apartment looked as described. However, we went to bed in the master and the bed linens and the pillows were covered in long dark hairs. I feel very confident they were not washed. We did not sleep in the bed. Made me wonder what else was not properly cleaned. Otherwise the inside of the place seemed nice but the neighborhood didn’t feel safe. Parked the car in a nearby garage and had to wait for someone experiencing a mental crisis to move along before we could exit. My husband was approached by someone trying to get his phone. More than once we heard yelling in the streets that night. Obviously that’s not the property’s fault, but we had planned on a walking a few places and changed our plans to drive after those experiences.

What's Not To Love!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was exceptionally clean upon check-in, though we were impressed cleaning supplies were readily available for us to use, if we chose to be extra cautious. Everything in the apartment is very well maintained and we were extremely comfortable spending our "down time" hanging out in the living room watching TV (love the throws & pouf ottomans). The beds are comfortable, the linens are luxurious and the bathrooms are spacious. JT was extremely responsive when we had any questions at all. Daytime parking is easy as the apartment is next to a parking lot and overnight parking is free on the street after 7 pm. We would love to stay at the apartment again in the future!

Stylish and Comfortable

The space is wonderful; very spacious, modern, and comfortable. The layout is great and has everything you need. Closely located to the downtown area. This unit is on the second story with only stair access. If staying long term you will need to pay for lot parking, steet parking does not require meter payment overnight. This would be a great base of operations if staying in the area and taking in all the local culture.
