「Beautiful cottage in the centre of Portscatho. Very spacious, family friendly and perfect for a half term holiday」

「Beautiful place! I love it.」

「Friendly and well」

「Lovely stay in this hotel. We used the SPA including the facilities. Great choice at Breakfast, free parking, bed was very comfortable, room had everything we needed. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Would definitely recommend a stay here.」

「Close to Trebha gardens and stop at Maen Smith village pub on way back to hotel.」

「Great location」

「Lovely staff, good, clean room and tasty breakfast. A great place to stay! I stayed 2 nights. On the 2nd night, I'd been out all day in the rain at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and I was tired. So I decided to eat in. I didn't realise dinner had to be reserved - my fault. Normally, I could have got something from the bar but it was 5th November and it was packed for the fireworks! Again, my fault really for not checking. Anyway, I can highly recommend the hotel and I will definitely stay again,...

「Perfect location - nothing better than going for a daily sea swim at the beach at the bottom of the garden. We had a garden view room with a balcony that looked through the gardens and to the sea - made for idyllic mornings and evenings. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.」

「A great stay」

「Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!」

「We booked this room last minute for a great price so were honestly not expecting much. From the outset the welcome was great, every member of staff we came across was helpful and friendly. The view from our room was beautiful, over looking the sea. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Ok, the rooms aren't as contemporary as some I've stayed at but perfectly good. The breakfast room itself has a wonderful view and the breakfast didn't disappoint. It was good quality, hot...

「The inn keepers were awesome. Welcoming, attentive and friendly. My room was clean and comfy. Highly recommend the Chainlocker 」

「Superb guesthouse in convenient location close to city centre. Close to bus routes too. Very accommodating owners. Lovely, clean room with everything you could ask for. Brilliant continental breakfast including cereals, pastries, toast, fruit/fruit salad, cheese and yoghurts. Cake and hot drinks also available during the day. Communal fridge is useful to keep your own food fresh. Really lovely experience with amazing hosts. Highly recommended!」

「Very nice rooms, good breakfast」

「We were well looked after by Scout on arrival. The property had a very calming atmosphere. The menu is not extensive but the quality of the food was excellent and we liked the idea of the small plates it gave the opportunity to try a number of items (in the style of tapas but with more quantity). This was a great place to get away and relax and we would not hesitate to return.」
