"We stayed here as part of our tour and visit to Rainier. It was a great location! There are plenty of little spots in town for grocery, food, coffee. The room was clean and staff was helpful."

"The location of Cowlitz River Lodge was great in proximity to town area (walkable) and easy enough to drive into the Sunrise and Paradise Lodges in MRNP. Plenty of parking. There was only 1 washer and dryer, so it was always in use when I tried to use it. The floors had been swept but definitely not mopped and the table was sticky. Good thing I travel with wipes. Every evening there was at least 1 elk in the area at the back of the hotel, that was amazing. Great place to stargaze too."

"Overall a good stay. Property was rustic as expected, but very small insert showers and beds were not comfortable. Host was great with communication and very easy check in process. Close to everything you'd need in Packwood and easy access to Rainier Park"

"The location was ideal for our group size—we were a group of 5, so there were plenty of beds to go around. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking and cleaning up. Tucked back in the woods, the property felt private and peaceful, with easy access to Mount Rainier National Park and just a short drive from Packwood, where you'll find a small grocery store and a few other amenities. We'd highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Mount Rainier."

"Curt was very prompt with all responses and helping with unforeseen issues throughout our stay. Was able to check in a little early and even checked in with us daily with the fire situation close by. Accommodations were amazing and close to everything!"

"Three Kings retreat should be the name. It is nice to find a place with 3 king beds for vacation with our adult children and their partners. Nice family retreat spot with plenty of extras including multiple coffee and tea brewing capabilities, and hot tub and Jacuzzi tub options after strenuous hikes at Mount Rainier."
