「Great cabin right on the river. Quiet neighborhood and perfect location for Lake Superior beach access with a 15 minute drive to Munising and only 40 mins to Marquette. Cabin is clean, with comfortable large beds, 2 bathrooms, and all the kitchen essentials you need. Grill works great too!」

「This was a very cute little cottage- just as described. Cottage was very clean and our host was super helpful! We were there celebrating our 40th Anniversary, this suited us perfectly. We would stay here again.」

「Absolutely loved this spot. The inside was even better than expected - cozy and clean. Fam of 5 plus our dog did just fine space wise. Super quiet little cluster of river houses, great pizza and pasty place and a convenient store just up the road, kayak rental people practically within shouting distance, and tons to do within a short drive. We loved it!」

「The place was cute and cozy. It was very conveniently located too. Host did allow us an early check in which was helpful as we drove from lower MI and were estimating arrival and made better timing than we anticipated. Family loved the DQ across the street too. 」

「Need many things to organize & finish. It is new & clean. Not ON the trail. The trail is assessable along a 4-lane highway. Trailer area is 10 min drive away. Problem getting hot water, not having correct room, no closet, dresser or hooks so could put anything away. Would consider again later in the future. 」

「The title says it all, we had all the comforts of home while being able to roll out of bed and jump in the lake.Large kitchen full stocked with pots, pans, large fridge and an extra fridge in the garage. The deck is amazing, plenty of room to live outside. The water is very accessible with minimum stairs and hand railing. We wish we could have stayed longer.」

「Perfect location, a quick 10 minute drive into downtown but also near a gas station and few other fast food places. The beach is gorgeous and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The home was perfect and well stocked! We will definitely stay again. 」

「The location is quiet and private.There are 5 cottages and a main house so you have some privacy. The cottages are nice and have all your necessities. The view of the lake is beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay at Elemental on beautiful Shag Lake! Our host George was helpful and communication was perfect! 」

「This small, newer home was great…nice sized bedrooms and bathroom, beautiful kitchen and living room. Very clean. Well insulated so we didn’t hear traffic much at all. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with.」

「We had the best time during our stay! Cabin is comfortable, has every kitchen amenity you could wish for, & the free access to kayaks was a huge plus for us! All of the mattresses were super comfortable. Cindy was a great host & Poe, her dog, was the sweetest! The location can't be beat! We enjoyed kayaking the Au Train River, Brownstone Inn for dinner, Bay Furnace for rock hunting, Capt Ron's Whitefish truck in Munising is a must & Au Train Grocery has the best pasties! We hope to return next...

「The lake is quiet and far enough from the touristy parts of the area to be peaceful and uncrowded, but close enough to stuff that you're not driving endlessly to get to civilization. The mattresses are super comfortable, and we really had everything we needed to just chill out.」

「Location is great ! Communication with the managers were wonderful, very thorough with directions , I liked that they texted and called you on the phone . Very cute and clean for place , slept six with a pullout couch . Very close to the waterfalls . 」

「This cabin was great for our family. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep. The location is close to many hikes, kayaking, boat tour and Munising.」

「Great place to stay loved that they welcomed pets. Only complaint was that another guest kept letting their dogs roam around off leash. Would definitely visit again..」
