"The cottage was spotless and honestly seemed brand new. The staff was very helpful and communicative. There was an issue with the fireplace not starting in the cottage we originally booked, and they alerted us and gave us the option to switch cottages. The cottage is located approximately 10 minutes from an Ingles so you can do all your grocery shopping with ease, or go pick up any essentials you may have forgotten. There is tons of stuff to do locally, so its a great choice for a little R&R or if you want to go out on some adventures. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We had a wonderful time! The home has lots of beds, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there are plenty of bathrooms. There is a lot to do in Cashiers. We really enjoyed the park, local waterfall walks and the brewery. We went to the Highlands Outpost for tubing and had a blast! We started the private trails but were not able to complete them in the winter due to needing waterproof boots for the river crossing. We wish we could have done this! Our kids really enjoyed the bunk house. A few things to know include the lowest floor does not have indoor steps to the main house in the 2nd level. You must use the outside steps. The kitchen/living in the 2nd floor is smaller than expected but we managed a full Thanksgiving dinner with 15 people. The lighting in the master bathroom is very dim. We had a couple of internet issues but Darin was very responsive to try and correct this. We had a great stay and loved the area. "

"This home was perfectly suited for our family! It is beautiful, comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly stocked…and had a fireplace…love, love, love!!! The very large family room had tables that were perfect for mahjong and for the large puzzle we worked on while there. It also had comfortable seating for a big crowd and another large fireplace. The bedrooms were great and baths were stocked with necessities and more. Upon arrival, the host had left snacks, coffee and drinks in the small bar fridge…an added, unexpected bonus. I haven’t even mentioned the game room, which all of us, adults and kids, absolutely loved! We would love to return to this mountain respite. It was so much more than we were expecting! Host family….Thank you for the wonderful memories made at your wonderful home!!!"
