「Needed a quiet place to unwind for a couple of days. This place checked ALL of the boxes...quiet cove, beautiful view and a porch with a swing! While we were there for a quiet time, I think a family would find it enjoyable as well. Oh and didn't want to forget how clean the house was. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to prepare a quiet gourmet meal or a big family feast! We have stayed at quite a few VRBO properties and this one ranked right...

「Location was great, dock was nice. Water was really shallow so we had to put the trim up and float in. Nearby Marina that was suggested didn’t allow launching because of damaged launch. Storm was rolling in so we tried to take the boat to the house… owner said there was lots of room. The angle of the driveway was prohibitive for backing a boat trailer in. Aside from that, the space was decorated nicely. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Grill on deck was nice. Unfortunately, the place...

「Spent the weekend here for a sporting event. This is just a fantastic spot. The lake is besutiful, the water is accessible and shallow for the kiddos. Tje gome is cozy and well appointed. The only thing missing is a swcond bathroom, socif you have a large party, be aware, but everything else was comfortable and perfect. Will stay again.」

The boat rental was so convenient, and we spent every afternoon/evening at the dock. Earl was a great host and we had everything we needed for a relaxing week at Lake Norman. 「My wife and I enjoyed our time at the Mt Holly Cottage. It’s a relaxing, peaceful, home with a vintage feel. The communication with the host was easy (by text). It’s min from the main strip in Mt. Holly but also close to the National Whitewater Center. We drove around the Charlotte area and was only 10-15 min to popular areas like NoDa, Southpark, and Southend. We had a nice time at the cottage. Thank You」

「Lovely home with a cozy feel. This is a great home for someone with limited mobility, in that you can walk right into the house with no steps and it is one level. There is a large shower with a small step and a handheld shower head. The toilets are low and the kitchen is long and narrow but that does not take away from the charm and ease of the house. Even for someone with limited mobility there is a great view of the water and the sunroom is a great place to soak up the outside. The fire pit...
