Squirrel Haven Cottage on Lake Norman

Squirrel Haven Cottage is a peaceful 1-bedroom guest house next to our home on Lake Norman. Nestled privately amidst trees with a beautiful lawn leading down to the lake. With access to a private pier and floating dock, this is a perfect place for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Cottage has a combined living room and kitchen. Door from living space opens to a lovely bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, closet, night stands, and dresser.
Ensuite bathroom includes bathtub/shower, sink and linen closet.
In addition, high speed internet, smart TV, washer/dryer combo are also all available.

In addition to the cottage, guests are invited to enjoy the lake front including swimming and fishing from private pier and floating dock. Rented boats or jet skis can be tied off at the dock as well.

Perfect couple cottage

Just as described and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. Right on the lake and host was very attentive and responsive. Will definitely look to stay here again.

The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed Lake Norman and the private pier. My husband loves to fish. It was very clean and having a laundry is a nice feature. Beautiful screened in porch. Easy parking directly in front of the cottage.

My wife and I stayed the night here on our way down to Hilton Head Island. This was a great decision as everything met or exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet area and the comfortable bed. We will stay here agin.

We really enjoyed our stay which was connected to the owners home like a inlaw suite. The owners were very nice. The suite was nice and beautifully decorated. THE FISHING WAS GREAT.

Couples getaway

This was a nice peaceful getaway with a nice view of cranes in the day and moonlight glistening by night on the lake, with Lineburgers steak house close by! Everything was homey and cute and it was in a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and host.

Pefect little cottage

We stayed three nights and it was perfect for us. Great location, quiet at night. Clean, safe what a find! Scott, Priscilla and Teddy took wonderful care of us! Even thought to give us flashlights for the possibility of a storm. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Lacrosse trip

The cottage was everything it was represented to be. The host was very pleasant and eager to make out trip comfortable. The boat dock was a great place to relax and watch the boats and jet skis run up and down the lake.

Cute bungalow, perfect for 2 people. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from restaurants. Giovanni's pizza was incredible. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and easy stay. Very nice for a couples getaway. The dock and lake were just gorgeous to hang out, tan, and swim in. Easy parking and check in/out. We had a blast for the price we paid and just enough privacy for the two of us! We had access to Roku tv as well to watch movies, full kitchen for cooking, and laundry. Loved it!

Excellent couples vacation

The cottage was perfect for our vacation. The pier was nice to seat out on and have a day or lay out and get some sun. It was quiet and cozy. I would recommend it to anyone. The house had pretty everything you needed.I would recommend Two trees tavern not that far from the cottage for good food and very friendly people!

From out of state for a wedding weekend

Despite the heat and humidity, husband caught a few catfish, a bass, and some bluegills off the floating dock. The little home was perfect. Clean and tidy. A most comfy bed. Scott was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
