"This was a really awesome place to spend the weekend. My girlfriend and I were looking for a unique place to stay while exploring the Mississippi Palisades and the surrounding hiking areas and this did not disappoint. The location was great; right downtown in Savanna and only about 10 minutes from the park. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-furnished. Communication with the owners was great and the check in/check out was super smooth. We would absolutely stay here again! "

"Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. "Great house for a nice getaway. Plenty to do onsite to keep you occupied. Fantastic outdoor patio area with woods behind the house. 2-person jacuzzi tub was fantastic too. Beds were comfortable, and house was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. Plenty of seasoned firewood for inddor and outdoor use.Had a very minor hiccup with check-in, which was not the owners fault. "Stayed here over a busy Memorial day weekend. The home has a full kitchen for cooking meals or just a couple minute walk to Manny's Pizza or Sunshine Restaurant for delicious food at a very low cost. The service is fast and friendly. If you're into the motorcycle lifestyle there is the Iron Horse Social Club a minute walk away or Poopy's Pub a 5 minute drive. The house has a small living room were we enjoyed having a family get together. There is a large washer and dryer that is very convenient....

"Out of half a dozen or so cabin rentals, this one is the absolute best. It's clean, uncluttered, quiet, and huge! Water was hot, heater worked really well (it was a very cold week) and the kitchen worked well. Beds were comfy too. I can't say enough good things about this place!"

"It’s a dated hotel, no frills no thrills you know it’s one of those things. You just need a roof over your head for the night. There was no bugs or pests. Everything was clean and served its purpose free Wi-Fi. I know it may be hit or miss with other rooms but the room I had this time was really good."

"If you are looking for the perfect spot for your group of 6-8, this is it! The wrap around deck, fire pit and outdoor grilling station are just part of why it is perfect. The indoor kitchen is perfect for a group cooking and serving. We had a great thunderstorm roll through and watched it from the huge screened in porch! Bring your tubes and put in up the river near the dam and float back to the property! There are stairs leading up from the water but no beach front or actual swimming area at the property. Very rocky (aka Rock River) so use caution. Oh, and a wonderful chicken came to visit us daily!! Can’t wait to return!!The host is responsive and prompt with messaging. This was the relaxing weekend we all needed. "

"we had such a peaceful weekend getaway here! the river views were absolutely stunning — seriously one of the best parts of the stay. the house itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with everything we needed to relax. communication with the owner was super fast and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free.the only heads up is that since it’s right by the river, there were quite a few mayflies around in the evenings — but that’s just nature being nature! we stayed inside after sundown, played board games, and had a great time anyway. during the day, we bbq’d and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space.would absolutely stay here again. "
