Studio living with an entire back yard for star gazing and bird watching! Float in pool Or recharge with sauna and hot tub! Furnished kitchen and pet friendly. Also has a pool table, and walking paths with many nearby forest preserves for hiking. Check out the Winnebago county fair website! We are walking distance to the fairgrounds and they have lots of events going on!

Relaxing stay in small, quiet town

we enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts were attentive while still respecting our privacy and obviously wanted to be sure we had a good experience. The space was as described and the pool was terrific. We enjoyed being in a smaller town where we could see stars at night but close enough to Rockford with plenty of things to do.

Cozy weekend trip!

Incredible experience!

This was such an amazing get-away from the city! The quietness was unmatched! Amenities are incredible. Sauna and hot tub were so nice. Includes a pool table which was so fun!!! Highly recommend!

Amazing Small Town Getaway!

This was such a cool spot with incredible features/amenities and was so unique. I actually didn't realize it was a converted a garage, and they've done an amazing job with it! It was country living meets unique/rustic meets luxe life. The location is great, walking distance from the small downtown area and the walking path, which my dog enjoyed. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were awesome. I had everything I needed and then some. Definitely going back.

A couple days away from reality

This property was amazing, we had access to pool , hot tub with very limited conversation with owners, the pictures and descriptions of this place do not fully do it justice, the outhouse ( a converted garage) was probably the cleanest dwelling we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in cabins from Alabama to Ohio and in between, this place is a plus, would recommend it to anyone whom just wants to get away for a day or two, and Booties and the Rails were both very good

Enjoyed being at this property in an attractive small town. The pool was great and the host was very accommodating. Will consider staying here again in a future visit! Very pet friendly as well!

Great cozy little stay!

Was lucky enough to have this weekend trip during weather where it was just cool enough to enjoy the hot tub but warm enough where we could jump in the pool too! We were given complete access to privacy to the backyard besides a quick friendly hello from the host. We loved the pool table and the sauna! If I had to find one fault it would be the slight confusion during check out- the host was power washing his driveway as we loaded our car and during conversation noted a 10am check out whereas the listing stated 11am. Regardless, he was extremely nice about the exchange so it was no biggie. Would definitely recommend!

The Pec Thing

Great place to stay. Close to the Fair Grounds. We have always enjoyed Pecatonica and enjoyed staying at THe Outhouse while in town from Michigan.
