This architectural gem perfectly blends original character with modern luxury, offering a one-of-a-kind setting just two blocks from the heart of downtown. Relax surrounded by beautiful original stained glass windows. Enjoy a haven away from home to rest, refresh, pray, or enjoy what Savanna and the Driftless area have to offer.

    The Space: Loft Living Under Soaring Ceilings
    Accommodates: Up to 6 guests

    3 Unique Bedrooms (Sleeps 6): Discover our three sleeping areas. Please note a key architectural feature: the bedrooms are designed in a loft-style/mezzanine layout and do not have traditional enclosed ceilings. This allows you to enjoy incredible views of the building's original soaring roofline and vaulted structure, creating a spacious, open, and airy feel. (But it does not give as much privacy for sound/light). We have white noise makers.

    The living space is open and includes large comfortable couches and multiple seating areas. A large smart TV to watch. A beautiful nook with recliner chairs and a fountain to refresh yourself.

    Modern Comforts: The 1.5 bathrooms include a beautifully appointed full bath featuring a luxurious rain shower.

    The kitchen has modern comforts with gas stovetop, new appliances including a dishwasher, and beautiful dishes and china to use.

    You can’t beat the location! You are just a two-block walk from downtown Savanna, IL. Explore the quaint local shops, enjoy waterfront dining, and easily access the stunning Mississippi Riverfront and nearby nature trails. Boats are available to rent from Nuts Outdoors. Nearby is an adorable coffee house and bookstore, the Novel Bloom. Or enjoy biker bars like the famous Poppy's or Iron Horse. Also only 35-40 min to Galena, 25 minutes to skiing, and various wineries also close by.
    5 min from Mississippi Palisades State Park, with beautiful hiking and sunset views!

This place was absolutely stunning! All 5 of us were amazingly surprised with the entire place. From the vibrate colors in the rooms to the cozy back yard with amazing views of the glistening stain glass windows from the hot tub. The place was decorated lively and so many photos ops too. The host were very helpful in helping suggesting things to do i the area and asked if we needed anything to reach out. We will be planning more trips and staying in this beautiful Church.

We had a lovely time staying at the church. We rented it for 2 nights and extended it to 3. Beth was wonderful with communications and the place was better than could be imagined.We were in route to AR for bike riding when our truck camper broke down. After finding out it needed major repairs, we needed to adjust our plans to riding in IA or IL. We stumbled upon the little church on VRBO and couldn't have been more pleased. My mother absolutely loved the church, the hot tub for her aches and sitting around the fire in the eve. We rode bikes around Savanna, Fulton, Rock Island and found many touristy things to go to.
