「Our room was lovely and looked very clean. The staff were very nice, and seems like young hockey teams use this hotel often as there are "no mini sticks" signs in the hallways! The night was quiet and relaxing for the most part. A great hotel for the price point as others in the area are pretty run down.」

「Staff was nice, they let us check out an hour later, room was clean and bed was very comfortable but the room was dated and worn(not a dealbreaker though) but for one night in a town where accommodations are limited in the middle of winter we were happy with our stay 」

Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!」

「The Travelodge was a simple property and I did not need much. However the WIFI would only work half of the time, despite the Manager re-setting the hotel router. The bathroom sink would not drain water well. The television remote control had channel cursor buttons to go either up or down, but only the up cursor worked. But after staying four nights, on my fourth night, I had a terrible issue with one of the front desk clerks. I always request an extra additional hour for a late check out from...

「This “Stayvaction for a night” did not disappoint. Lovely view, friendly staff, spacious room and the Taste of Italy Night in the dining room was a wonderful meal. This time of year it is hard to use the golf course and outdoor pool, but they are equipped with a spa, workout room, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Just what we needed to recharge without having to travel hours to do so. Can’t wait to go back.」

「We were never told that the hotel was under construction so the pool and hot tub were not useable as the construction supplies were stored in the pool area. The area for breakfast was sealed off and under construction so there was no “breakfast included” as advertised. Overall, we were very disappointed. Had we of known any of this we would have stayed elsewhere.」

「Nice spot would be great for kids. Sand beach, concrete fishing dock, campfire, rec hall for rainy days, horseshoe pits, fenced pool, lots a room. Oh yeah, i saw a small boat ramp on the property too (good for a boat up to 16 ft maybe) . Might be a good spot to park a small trolling boat for a few days. Good rainbow and lake trout fishing right out in the bay. I caught a 6 lb rainbow across the bay at colpoys bay just casting off the pier. Also good fishing off the public pier in town.」

「We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.」
