Within minutes, Joe the groundskeeper arrived with fresh coconuts with straws for them to drink. Carlos the night time security guard was so friendly and helpful. We would love to return to Cassia Hill in the future. 」

「We absolutely loved the grounds. Saw a ton of birds including parrots, a kingfisher, warblers, hummingbirds and toucans to name a couple highlights. The big issue we had was the room was attached to another and it had no sound proofing at all. So we could hear conversations, we could hear and feel every movement by our neighbor. 「Maybe spend a few minutes at check-in to give the guest all the info they need. After signing the reservation form, I was given a key and my room was pointed out me. No other info was given. Front Desk agent was in a hurry to leave the building. No WiFi info, location of resort amenities, or other property info was shared. We walked around to find the pool and discovered it was dirty with a bunch leaves and other debris. I learned about the walking trails after my departure from someone else....

「I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.」

(45 minutes de San Ignacio) Les options de marches en nature sont nombreuses et très bien balisées avec en prime des baignades dans des sites enchanteurs. La nourriture est typique et excellentes. 「I’m glad I chose my stay outside of the center of town. If you have a car and are debating where to stay I would chose this place because it’s so serene. There are 3 small houses on the property and they are all surrounded by trees. The hammocks in the porch were ideal. The breakfast was so good and the eggs I had there were the brightest ( real) eggs I’ve had. You’ll see hummingbirds right outside the restaurant. 「Our three nights at Crystal Paradise was the perfect way to experience the jungle and the surrounding San Ignacio area. Each morning we had breakfast with over 60 species of birds and every evening we enjoyed wonderful home cooked meals. Our tour guide Romel was a legend as we explored various caves, ruins, and waterfalls. Thank you to the Tut family for hosting us. 」

「A beautiful location with stunning views from the cabanas. The food and drinks at the on-site restaurant and coffee shop were very good and fairly priced. A real bonus is having your own terrace in front of the cabana with a hammock which is protected by a fly net. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking available. We would have liked a fridge and safe in the room but otherwise loved our stay here. 」
