Perfect getaway on emerald Lake Keowee, the cleanest lake in the Southeast.

Our lake house has served as a vacation home for our family for many years. It has been used for holidays and a few weekends during the summer months so it is very clean and like new. A family room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom can be found on the main floor. The terrace level has a game room, bar, TV room, 3rd bedroom and bunk room. There is plenty to do from this ideal location - boating, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, biking or exploring the many State Parks nearby. Tennis and Pickleball courts are 10 minutes. Multiple golf courses within a 30-minute radius. Clemson University is 15 miles, about a 30 minute drive.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Our family enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving on the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed many family meals around the dining table. There are lots of grocery store options nearby to pick up whatever you need. We did not really use the downstairs other than the bedrooms as there was no TV or ping pong table but the large couch in the family room was perfect for watching the Macy’s parade and football games. It is a short walk to the dock. The fish were not biting but it did turn rather cold while we were there so that may be why. The back deck was perfect for coffee in the morning or relaxing in the afternoon. The house also had plenty of parking and I appreciated the landscapers who were there that week blowing the leaves.

October 2020 Stay

We had a great long weekend vacation at The Lake House. The home had everything you could need. Owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the screened porch. Beds were comfortable. Nice place!

The screened in porch was a nice place to hang out. We had difficulty understanding why so much in the house was rundown, broken, and uncomfortable. The downstairs 4-post bed had a screw protruding from one of the broken off posts. The taped on duct tape only made things worse. The stuffing was coming out of the couch, out of the mattress in the large BR (look underneath the bed!), and out of the deco pillows. The mattresses were varying degrees of comfort to dicomfort.The kitchen cookware was not only cheap teflon coated items, but most had it scraped off. This is just not healthy. We did appreciate the large number of beach towels, the number of dishes, and the game selection. If we were to make one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the furniture, appliances and kichenware. Charge more, but make it a healthier, cleaner, and safer stay.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Beautiful views of the lake and watched deer each morning and afternoon. Quiet location- perfect area for walking. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Great layout for multiple families and friends. Owner was quick to respond to my communication.

Lake House at Keowee

The house cleaning inside and out was sub-par. Kristy Williams is fully aware of the issue. You can communicate with her. I have a record of the communication and am available for direct communication with the owner.

Had a nice time

House is in a good location. Small inlet, fine to swim off pier. Water depth over ten feet at pier edge - had a boat with depth finder. Downstairs is set up well for the teenagers we brought. They enjoyed ping pong table. Property manager was quickly responsive to fix a problem for us.

Super location and spacious home!

The location was great and it was a beautiful setting on the lake! The house accommodated our large group comfortably. There were some missing essentials such as laundry and dishwashing detergent, extra toilet paper and paper goods. Luckily it was close to convenient stores to pick up needed items. Overall, it was a great stay!

Perfect for lake getaways & reunions

We booked this house for a relaxing reunion weekend. The house was awesome, and perfect for our large group to have proximity to Seneca and Clemson. The owner was also very attentive for communications. Thank you!

Very nice place with great view

This property was great. My friends and I stayed there so that we could go boating on a Friday and go to a Clemson game on a Saturday. We rented a pontoon boat from the Keowee Marina and took it right to the house dock so we could load it up. The house has a wonderful view and was very peaceful. We enjoyed the ping pong and foosball too.

Great Vacation House for Families

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful vacation home on Lake Keowee. The home has a really large family float by the dock that my kids and I had a blast lounging and relaxing on. The house is set back away from boat traffic and wakes so we were able to swim and enjoy the cove area safely. The neighbors near by are super friendly too and we were able to meet a few of them outside as we were enjoying the lake. The house has a great screened in porch that has a big table so my family enjoyed playing card games out there at night. We saw deer in the vacant lot grazing and hear lots of nature sounds out on the porch at night. The house is very accommodating for large families and is suitable for young children too. My kids loved the bunk beds down stairs and the ping pong table also. Overall, I would definitely stay in this beautiful home again and I am thankful for the owners for allowing us to have a awesome vacation in their stunning Lake Keowee home!

Great house on Lake Keowee

This house checked off most of our wants and needs. We vacationed with friends. We both brought the boats. Easy to get to the South Cove Ramp and the various islands on the south side of the lake. Very open layout that gave us opportunities to be together while also giving us soace when needed. A great time! Thank you.

Peaceful & Cozy Getaway on Lake Keowee

We are a group of friends with children ages 6-15. This is our 21st year of traveling to the lake together and one of our best visits. The house was spacious and had plenty to entertain the children - they spent most of the time swimming - but also loved hosting ping pong tournaments, playing many of the games provided, and exploring the area. We brought two boats (had plenty of dock space) and this was a great location on the lake. The house was very clean, had comfortable beds and plenty of cookware & kitchen items as we cooked in all week. Loved having an extra refrigerator and the floor plan was ideal for our group. Easy check in/out process and great communication by owner. We hope to return in the future!

Amazing Lake Trip

I booked this for my wife and I, our nanny and 3 kids. 2,7 and 9. We rented a boat from Keowee boat rentals and had it at the dock in front of the house the whole time. We had a great visit and vacation. The house was wonderful and lake fantastic. Highly recommend if you need lots of space for your family and want to be on the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at this awesome home! The house was perfect for our family and had really easy access to the lake! The dock was awesome and very easy to dock our boat! We really enjoyed swimming and floating in the lake by the dock! Owner was very easy to deal with and very accommodating! Thanks for a great weekend!!! We will be back!!!

Perfect stay

We enjoyed renting here. Everything was great and clean. Already planning on booking again. Location was perfect. Great communication with Lori had one small issue with garbage disposal and they had someone there within an hour.
