「No Pool! even though the main photo of the listing is of a pool, there is no pool on site, they offer access to a public pool about a mile away. To me, the whole point was to be able to go down for a quick swim with the kids, not have to venture out, find parking and all that hassle. That was very frustrating. Pool aside, the apartment was very nice. Clean and modern. Great view of the sunset over the ocean. If you're looking for a place with a pool, this isn't it. If you don't care...

「The host was amazingly helpful getting us into the apartment, as we had arrived early. She allowed us in to store our luggage while we got some lunch. The apartment was spacious and comfortable beds/pillows. Close to the Harbour and restaurants. The couch in the living area was extemely uncomfortable and broken. This should be replaced for future guests. Otherwise very pleased with our choice at Kartuki.」

「I was informed that I would receive an email with the check-in instructions at 1:00 PM on the day of my stay, but no such email arrived.
Other guests seemed to be having the same issue.
I went to the hotel front desk in front of the building to sort it out, but even though I was staying at an apartment, they gave me a hotel room key card.
The male staff member who assisted me was careless and had a terrible attitude.
The female staff member at the front desk also acted condescendingly.

「Temperature of room was very difficult to regulate. Thermostats had signs on them to not adjust temperature, but room got extremely warm and only way to lower the temp. was to open windows and doors. However, the windows barely opened so only effective way was to open front door and balcony door to provide airflow.」
