Unbelievable location. Apartment is located in the perfect spot to explore all the must sees in Reykjavik. We had a little confusion with the check in process, but the host answered our call and guided us through it.

Good studio for two adults and teen. Well equipped and excellent location. Only negative was the big windows out to the yard which meant there was no privacy when other neighbours were coming and going or smoking out there, unless we had blinds down which meant it was very dark.

Beautiful room. We stayed in a 1 bedroom that sleeps 4 with 2 sofa beds. Highly recommend this clean place with great location to near by restaurants and shops. Check in and out is very simple and easy.

Most economical apartment we stayed in during our visit to Iceland, but it felt like a luxury apartment. It had everything thing we needed for a comfortable stay. A bonus was the fast wi-fi which allowed my granddaughter to complete her online classes. Wonderful bakery next door!

The property is in a great location, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The shower could use an update, though. We stayed on the second floor and could hear every group coming into the building because the heavy entrance doors slammed shut each time. I understand the doors need to be heavy due to the weather, but the noise was noticeable, especially at night. We parked at P3 location, which is only a few blocks away, for lower parking charge. We only made hot water for coffee and tea. Overall is good since it is in the middle of the city.

The location is right in the city, close to everything: bars, restaurants, shopping, and transportation. The place is very clean, spacious, and safe. I had a studio apartment and was able to shop and make my own breakfast, which was fantastic because my tours started very early in the morning. The only downside is that you can hear everything: doors closing, suitcases being dragged along because there's no elevator, so you have to carry luggage up the stairs. The walls and floors are paper-thin; there's zero sound insulation. My second-floor room was in an interior courtyard, so I didn't hear any outside noise. They were very responsive to all my questions. If you don't mind the noise inside the building and want a convenient and reasonably priced place, this is the stay for you.

We had a great stay at Rey Apartments in Reyjavik. Our room was fantastic and we loved having a kitchenette and lounge to use in the mornings and evening. The location was fantastic and easily walkable to the main areas of town. The apartment was clean and check in was super easy. We'd definitely stay with you again!

This location was excellent to walk to a corner market a block away, restaurants and nightlife. We didn’t cook but having the option would be great for a longer stay.

Absolutely. Here’s a balanced Expedia-style review that keeps the good stuff strong but honestly mentions the musty smell and bed comfort: Great Reykjavík location with lots of space We really enjoyed our stay at Rey Apartments. The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of Hallgrímskirkja Church, Rainbow Street, shops, restaurants, and a very cute secondhand shop right across the street. Communication with the manager was great. They let us drop our bags early, helped with check-in, and changed the gate codes for us, which we really appreciated. We stayed in room 1107, and it was huge. It was also nice that there were no stairs to get into the room. The kitchenette was lovely and made it easy to prepare some food during our stay. The blackout curtains were excellent, which was helpful in Reykjavík’s long daylight hours. One helpful tip: there are two free parking spots across from the entrance gate, slightly down to the left near the blue building. If they are open, ask the owner about using them because parking nearby can be expensive. The only downsides were that the room had a musty/mildew smell when we first arrived, though it improved during our stay. The king bed was not very comfortable, and one of the sofas worked for our daughter to sleep on but was pretty hard. There are also a couple of step-downs/level changes in the floor that you need to watch for. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The space, location, communication, kitchenette, and
