"Check-in was easy. Room was as expected. Room was fine but “well-worn”. This is a well used property because of its location but they need to keep that in minds. Things like door handles being loose, wall thermostat not working, phone not working, elevator not working correctly. The pool was closed on the only night we wanted to use it. Breakfast was good - comparable to other properties. Lobby was in nice condition. It’s not as worn as the rooms are. Great location and friendly staff. All soaps in the shower which are locked against the wall were almost out (as they are pretty much everywhere we ever stay). So we had to call down to get more. It never came so we had to go down to the front desk to get more. We don’t have an issue with it being locked down in general but it should be on the housekeeping checklist to fill it to the top each and every room turn that way it never runs out on a guest. I’m positive that anyone at Marriott corporate would agree with that."

"This hotel is very nice, and our room with a balcony over looking the pool area was lovely. The lobby is lovely with a bar, nice sit down restaurant, and coffee and sandwich counter. It's located in a GREAT location walkung distance to many restaurants, chocolate shops, and fun sites. We walked to a wonderful breakfast restaurant called "Sunday Sunday", a beautiful historic church, and SCAG for a tour. However, we found staff to be less than helpful upon arrival which is super important. We were left to find and figure out how to get our bags into the hotel and navigate the lobby which was quite busy. Not a good first impression, but after that we were good."

"From the moment we walked into the 17hundred90 we knew this was a dfifferent kind of lodging experience. Patrick was so kind and reassuring. And Grumpy made our welcome and check in fun and informative. He helped us get parked when it didn't seem like there was anywhere to park and then helped get our bags up to the 2nd floor. Our room was charming with a fireplace and a four-poster bed. The one thing it did not have was a window but we didn't mind. We received a coupon for two free drinks downstairs and Martha made us feel welcome at the bar. 17hundred90 is situated walking distance from most of the historic district of Savannah. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot the whole time we were there. We ate at the restaurant downstairs the second night and the food was delicious. The service was great (thanks Raymond) and the piano player added to the experience. We would definitely stay at 17hundred90 again AND we would recommend it to our friends. This place is great."

"Loved this Pet-Friendly hotel that made us feel so welcome the moment the Kind Valets held the door open for us to the Wonderful Staff graciously offering guidance for a super fun stay in Savannah. The room was clean, had lovely white towels and bedding, and delicious smelling toiletries in the shower. I will definitely stay here again with our doggie, especially after enjoying their beautiful courtyard with the complimentary wine served in the afternoon. Oh and it was so well located that even though it’s so close to the touristy areas, it was still quiet and relaxing with a lovely square to walk around."
