"This house is on a small side channel of the North River, with a considerable marsh next to it. It's a quiet peaceful spot with gorgeous sunsets and especially sunrises. It's a ten minute drive or so into the main part of Beaufort. The house is comfortable and clean. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (though no salt--bring your own) and the porch is wonderful for sitting outside and taking in the view. There are a few small maintenance issues that I expect will be fixed very soon. But over all it's just a great place--we have stayed here several times. And personally my favorite thing is sitting on the porch taking pictures of all the interesting birds!"

"Pleasant home with a quiet neighborhood. The nearest public access beach is about 15 minutes away. Our family made another great memories in this home. The only downside is our daughter is wheelchair bound and couldn't fully utilize the bathroom because of the doors being so narrow.. Overall, we had a pleasant stay..
