New Ringgold is at the foot of mountains. While a half hour down the road, it can be snowing in this town. But during the summer the sun shines brightly in the morning, bringing gold to everything, and birdsong and buzzing bees sing you to the waking world.

The one benefit to my parents living in rural Pennsylvania is that there is a never-ending selection of fresh produce right down the road. This farm market, on the corner of two busy roads, is my favorite. They have a tiny room of decorations for your home which I like to view but my favorite part has to be the tables and tables of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. The air is rich with a sweet, delicious scent. Your mouth will water -- that's how fresh everything is! It's also really cheap. Seriously, the best fruits and veggies I've ever had for snacking and cooking has come from this place. Every time I visit my parents I make it a point to visit there and take armfuls of fruits and veggies back home with me.
