Beautiful full house rental with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One bath is upstairs and one is downstairs. There is a living room equipped with T.V.., D.V.D. player, internet, Alexa device and air-conditioning. There is a dining room and kitchen, which is fully equipped with cookware, stove, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig machine, dishes/China, if you wish to use it. There is a COFFEE BAR in the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs each with air-conditioning, towels, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is PRIVATE PARKING on the premises offering 3 parking spots. House was just finished with fresh paint and Victorian furniture and decor. There is a barbecue and fire pit with furniture in the private yard. There is a lock box on the door for self-check in/out. The second floor has a picture wall of Jim Thorpe past and present. Walking distance to all bars, restaurants and historical attractions!

Nice stay for friends holiday getaway

House was very nice and plenty of room for 3 college friends. Walk to town was only 10 minutes which was great. Place was very clean and had the basics. Only recommendation is to update decor in and out of the house.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

Wonderful walkable location close to downtown and just 15 min walk from the train station. The electric fireplace was especially welcome with the chilly weather and there is plenty of seating in the living room to enjoy a good visit. The host has left lots of helpful information for guests and check in process is very easy.

Property is in a great Location for walking down town- quiet section of town. Parking on premises was a huge plus as parking is very difficult and expensive in the area. The property is roomy, clean, and well maintained.

Fall Weekend

Great location, in walking distance to all events! Property Owners were very knowledgeable of the area and provided information on what to do and where to go. Accommodations were clean, the house was cozy, and plenty of parking. Perfect for a fall getaway in Jim Thorpe!

One of our most favorite vacations! House close to shops and restaurants in town. Relaxed with full kitchen and air conditioning! Must do: No.9 Coal Mine, Whispering Springs Horseback Riding, JTRaft.com, Packer Mansion, Old Jail Tour, Bike Rentals, Train Ride

Excellent property

The location is perfect - steps away from the shops and restaurants but not too close to be bothered by traffic and noise. Denise was terrific in being proactive, offering information, and making sure we get there with no hiccups. Also very flexible throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

Biking and wineries

Upper town location, right by the old jail with easy parking, and very walkable downhill to the train station with lots of shops along the way. Clean home with three upstairs bedrooms. We had a wonderful time biking from white haven back to Jim Thorpe and touring some local wineries.

Three old college friends just visiting someplace new, enjoying fall weather. This property has a great location; everything in walking distance. Lots of menus and suggestions for things to do. Clear instructions for check out. Easy communication with host. We had a ball!

Short visit to JT

Stayed here for a couple nights over the holidays for a small family get-together. This house was clean, well-located, and had all the amenities we needed. Off-street parking for two cars was included, which is very important in Jim Thorpe.This was our first visit to JT. It turned out to be a great little town to visit during this time of year. If you're planning a visit, I strongly recommend staying along Broadway on the west side of the river. You'll be able to easily walk to attractions and pop in and out with minimal fuss and no parking hassle. This particular house is conveniently located a short walk from both the tourist area (train, shopping, restaurants) and the Switchback trailhead (hiking), and right across from the old Jailhouse.

Perfect Location

I was so pleasantly greeted with a beautiful, clean home. No cookie cutter here! It's got so much character!!! We especially loved the fabric ceiling in the dining room!!!! There was nothing lacking in this place. It was located close enough to the shops & restaurants without being too close to the crowds. We literally parked our car & walked everywhere with no problem at all. Met the owners by chance and they were lovely people. Very responsive to any questions and seemed to be genuinely very nice people. Cannot recommend highly enough! Would 100% stay again.

Everything was great. The owner let us know all the details ahead of time. Location is great, 5 min easy walking to everything in downtown Jim Thorpe. The house is nice, everything was clean, towels and bed linen fresh and soft. Great to have off-street parking! Highly recommend, would stay again.
