Two week stay in Bella Vista neighborhood
The apartment looks like the photos. It was a ok stay however two issues:
1. One other reviewer mentioned the garage parking is very tight. This is correct. While garages in any apartment building in Santo Domingo can be small, the spot assigned to this particular unit makes getting a larger car or an SUV into and out of very difficult which could be an issue if you have, say, a rental. If you won't have a car, then this is not an issue.
2. All the windows in the apartment; the bedroom, the living room area, the kitchen, directly face windows and patios of the building next door and they can see into the apartment at night. If you are a woman, you may feel a bit uncomfortable (my wife did). It's not the host's fault per say but still, there's a lack of privacy feeling.
Building was secure.
