Spring Break trip

To start from the beginning we booked this house because the pictures looked stunning, the outdoor area, pool, and location to Seaside all seemed very appealing. When we got to the property we were surprised to find that the downstairs layout is a little awkward. To enter the house you have to go through the outdoor shower, through the small bunk room, which my teens dubbed the Harry Potter closet, to get to the actually entry. If you left or returned to the house you would have to go through the Harry Potter closet in order to lock the house up. Not a great layout for anyone staying in that room. The downstairs master bathroom was just gross. The first night there I went to shower and there were black hairs all over the shower walls. I noticed the drain was having trouble draining only to find a giant wad of black hair clogging the drain. Gag! The sliding door to the downstairs master comes off the track A LOT. One night I got stuck in the bathroom and had to wake my husband to get me out. To get to the outdoor area you either have to go through one of the downstairs bedrooms or out the front door through the parking area then back into the fenced outdoor area.The outdoor area is great though for hanging out after the beach. We grilled one night while there and our teens made bonfires several nigjts we were tjere.

Great Location!

The location could not have been better - A few steps from the beach, and with in walking distance to Airstream row and several great restaurants. The house was ready upon check-in, and had everything we needed. We even extended our stay an extra night. The management company was GREAT to work with as well.

Walk to the beach

The location was amazing, just a few steps away from the beach. Plenty of space throughout the house on each floor. The rooftop view was beautiful and I would definitely go back.

BEWARE ! Not as advertised

This house is in desperate need of repair - and cleaning. The pool and “cool spa” (which is actually a broken hot tub) were not working during our entire stay. We waited two separate days for maintenance - they never came. House was filthy, furniture covered in food and stains. Also broken furniture/chairs throughout. We’ve never had such a bad experience

Great location, needs a deep clean.

PHENOMENAL location & views. Needs pest control- brown spider came out of cupboard. 6 cockroaches found around different rooms of home. Small bugs in sink. Also, message confirming hot tub can be heated up, when looking around property unable to find temp control- reach out to property mgmt during stay & they say it can be heated but informed us there would be a charge which was never told to us in the original message. We had to pick up another dog’s poop when we first arrived in the backyard as that didn’t seem clean out back either.

Great house

The house was just as advertised. Clean and everything in great shape. We had all we needed there for a great vacation. Only problem we had was a homeless guy staying just off the path to the beach. It had the ladies kind of leery walking to the beach.

Wonderful!

The house is just as pretty as the pictures, and the top floor balcony was a wonderful spot for a family dance party. We have just about everything we needed, and our extended family was very comfortable. We loved discovering the game Telestrations, and all of the great touches, like the bikes and beach chairs. We loved how close the Seaside community was from the house. It made for a very memorable family beach trip.

Horrible experience

The aggressive property manager kicked us out on bogus complaints. Said we had underage drinking when there was no witness and no tickets given. He had no regard for safety of 17 people at 8:00 at night. Gave us 45 minutes to get out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will NEVER stay in a Blue Swell Property EVER. It’s a racket.

Perfect for large groups!

Rented this home for a large bachelorette trip and it has more than enough room for all of us. The location is great and it’s a short private walk to the beach! Really enjoyed my experience!

Great for winter break!

We loved our stay over winter break. The house easily accommodated our extended family and the fenced yard was an added bonus for our dog. Location was great -- steps from the beach and only a short walk or bike ride to Seaside. We hope to return soon!

Great Getaway!

Our stay was great. We had our annual Christmas party and white elephant gift exchange. The home was spacious yet cozy at the same time. Great for family events or group events! Love the privacy with the pool and close proximity to the beach.

Lovely house and perfect yard

We stayed with our daughters and their family and had a fantastic time. Very easy access to beach without having to cross the highway. The home and furnishings were very comfortable and the outdoor space amazing including multiple balconies to enjoy the sunset. I look forward to coming back!

Bachelorette trip

The house was very nice. It was spacious and all 17 attendees had beds with room to spare. Be aware that sprinklers are on auto. We had a rental company come to our home for outdoor movie night and the sprinklers went off! We were unable to shut off. If you think you’ll be grilling while on your stay it will interfere.

Great trip (once we got there)

Unfortunately, we were involved in a multi-vehicle accident in AL on our way to the property. Once we got there, the house was awesome, property management responsive and the location was excellent. Suggestions for the owner is at least for spring, offer heating the pool; and put a ceiling fan in the upstairs master. For visitors, consider renting bikes and at least during spring break season, buy enough food so you don't need to eat out given the crowds. Again, we'd return to this property....

The Perfect Vacation Home for a Large Family or Group

We invited a group of 14 girls and 3 adults to Santa Rosa Beach to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and this was the absolute PERFECT house to do just that! There was plenty of room for sleeping, getting ready and hanging out in the beautifully decorated bedrooms, bathrooms and main spaces. The large kitchen and dining table were perfect for feeding and cooking for the girls and provided everything necessary for Chef Hunter of The Dish and the Spoon to cook and serve a special birthday meal for everyone. The house also provided plenty of space for Mingle 30A to create an awesome backdrop wall and beautifully decorated staircase for all kinds of Insta and Snapchat-worthy photos. Having both a pool and beach right there was quite possibly our favorite feature…everyone could choose where they wanted to spend the morning or afternoon each day. Finally, the management company was incredibly easy to work with and always super friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone!!

Pretty Good

This is a good house. Location is right on busy 30A, and a little noisy, but overall very close to the beach, walkable. The house is priced and advertise as luxury. It’s certainly a notch below that but not a bad house.

Beautiful trip

We took my daughter and several of her friends down to Florida for her senior high school trip. We couldn’t have had a better experience! The house was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. The view was breathtaking and there was more than enough room for everybody! The location was amazing and only a few steps away from the beach. We felt safe enough for the girls to enjoy their time on their own. The town center is only a few blocks away! A quick bike ride or golf cart rental allows you to explore the town completely. I would definitely recommend your stay here and this company!
