「We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees
Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff.

「The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. 」
「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean.
Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared.
A book regarding the building was also an interesting read.
