"Dinner with locally raised beef (3 flavors to select prior to your stay) and buffet is served at 5:30 and 7:30 pm daily. Buffet breakfast is also of high quality. But you can explore neighboring restaurants and cafes since the hotel’s location is so convenient. There is a washer-dryer in our room that feels like at home. The guest floors (total 5) have small exhibition places to showcase local traditional craft works."

"I enjoyed the breakfast! It was one of the best breakfast so far. It had lots of choices from traditional Japanese to western choices. I appreciated it learning and tasting the Japanese breakfast as I am here to do so. The room was clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I wished we had a better view of the city but we got the wall and roof of the building next to us. I like that it was very close to the bus station and that we were able to leave our luggage before we checked in so we could explore the city. The staff was very helpful in providing us with information. They were also very friendly and polite. The staff is what makes a hotel experience excellent!"

The staff were generous and kind, we were able to book the private onsen for a very reasonable price to accommodate our tattoos and our family going together. The half board was delicious. This is not a luxury stay so much as a real Japanese cultural experience and we had a great time as a family of four USA folk with teens."

We highly recommend this hotel after a long day of hiking and sightseeing."
