Gemütliches Hotel mit Pool

Das Peace & Love ist wohl die beste Wahl in San Vicente und Umgebung. Sehr fürsorgliches Management. Leider viele lästige Sandfliegen an den nahegelegenen Stränden. Drückte etwas auf den Erholungseffekt. Aber dafür kann das Resort ja nichts. Ist wohl eher ein weitverbreitetes Problem auf Palawan.

Better the expected

We enjoyed our stay at peace and love, it was clean and had a nice pool. The food was tasty but it took a long time to get our orders. We stayed in a economy room without aircon, just fan- got really warm. Overall it was a good stay, would go there again but with a room with AC.

I love this place. First came in 2015 then booked again in 2017 but due to adverse weather elsewhere in the Philippines we were unable to get there. So now in 2018 we made it. One of the most beautiful places in the country. The hotel is great and the staff superb! Will be going again...best Island hopping every time!

True disappointment; far from description/photos!

Truly shocked by the difference between reality and website/photos.. Dirty pool, no beach nearby (12km/25min by taxi), room was not available, WiFi did not work (only sometimes according to employees), no spa, misleading ‘infinity pool’ pictures, loud music all day long. Outside there even is a sign that the establishment has been closed by Philippinian authorities?!

Ok overall. But the wi-fi worked properly for 1/2 hour in 3 days. You hade to wait for all food for at least 45 min in a restaurang hotter than hell. There was no beach near it. 15 minutes walk away it was a boring and dirty beach. And the pool is not an infinitypool and it was pretty dirty. But as i started whit, ok overall.

Reality far from advertisement !

No wifi, no hot water, very small room, not even close to the beach... When they advertise the opposite ! Plus you have to chase them every day to get the room cleaned. To get to long beach you have to pay a tuk tuk that takes more than 20min. The room was so small and hot we could not stay inside during the day. Oh and finally the pool is not clean. We discovered nice hotels on long beach (beach 2 and beach 3) that were better and cheaper. We were very disappointed by this hotel. The food is good though.

Excellent accueil. La nourriture est trop bonne mais attention îl faut commander 1h avant sinon c 1 h d'attente. La Plage le plus proche ést beach 1 à 10 min en taxi mais y'a rien c le désert apres y'a beach 2 à 20 min en taxi ét la y'a des chaises tables ét un restaurant tres Bon et beach 3 à 30 min en taxi ét la ya un restaurant super Bon chaise et la wifi. . L'hôtel na pas de Plage cest une rizière un port mais très belle vue malgré tout.

Room for improvement

Steve and Sarah are a good host and very personable. The place has the right vibe but it would help bring it to the next level by giving some attention to the upkeep of the rooms as in the long run it will cost more to fix by not maintaining them regularly.

Rummet i sig var ok. Ac:n vilket var en fönstarskakare lät som ett reaplan vilket fläkten på rummet också gjorde. fantastisk utsikt. personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. När vi kom dit byggde dem om och det såg stängt ut... men vi hade bokat online så vi var välkomna ändå.

Schöner Blick auf die Küste

Das Hotel ist hübsch, das Team super freundlich und nett. Leider wurde bei meinem Aufenthalt viel gebaut. Das ist einfach nicht schön, wenn man sich auf ruhige Tage freut. Die Entfernung zum Strand ist auch zu groß. Das W-Lan funktionierte wohl wetterbedingt nicht besonders gut und ist nur im öffentlichen Bereich verfügbar.

Schönes Hotel mit Meerblick vom Pool

Vorteile: - toller Service (Freundliche Mitarbeiter, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt) - saubere Zimmer - Infinity Pool mit Meerblick - sehr gutes Restaurant mit fairen Preisen Nachteile (Sparzimmer) - kalte Dusche - nur ein Ventilator (es war aber immer kühl in unserem Zimmer) Achtung, bei der Anreise beachten: das Hotel befindet sich nicht in Port Barton, sondern in San Vincente, eine 40 minütige Bootsfahrt entfernt von Port Barton.

The hotel is long overdue maintenance and refurbishment. Plumbing is poor, fly screens broken, aircon and fan noisy, poor internet that is only available in the reception area. One is misled by the photos on the web site and believe its much better than it really is. Whilst the cost is not an issue its really more like a back packers hostel

A bit pricy but amazing pool and friendly staff.

The location was beautiful. The view from the pool and our room was beautiful. The cleaning was happening in a very slow pace but it happened. The shower was hot and amazing. The stabwere friendly and helpful on both ideas on what to do and where to go. And a big plus was the evening life music. The hotel in it self was quaint but could use a loving hand. The tv wasn't working, the AC wasn't working properly, the sofa had holes in it, the curtain was falling down and the window kept falling out of its shelf. All in all a nice stay but a bit pricy for what you got.

Easy going&chill out place,superb service. I think the electricity things need more things to do,solarpower is the right thing to do in jungle and its 24/7power. Great place for 3-4 stay,biking&island hopping.

Pas un bon rapport qualité/prix. Belle vue sur la mer. Chambres moins chères exiguës, petites et mal aérée (ne vous fiez pas aux photos...). Nous avons demandé une meilleure chambre (pour laquelle nous avons payé plus cher), mais l'air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas. Les employés n'ont rien pu faire, et ne nous ont pas proposé autre chose. Les déplacements vers Port Barton ou El Nido sont chers (l'hôtel est à San Vicente, mais les activités sont toutes près de Port Barton), etc.

Bed bugs

I stayed for two nights. The staff were nice and helpful, the food was good (although it took a long time to get the food) and the view was great; however, the thing that ruined it for me was getting bitten by bed bugs that itched so bad. I was uncomfortable for over a week and have scarring. The hotel also had no hot water.

Ottima location vista mozzafiato

Ottimo hotel, l'unico inconveniente é stato non aver prenotato per tempo quindi ci è toccata l'ultima stanza rimasta, senza acqua calda e senza condizionatore. Consiglio comunque di soggiornare se di passaggio per max 2 notti PRENOTANDO PER TEMPO. A 10' a piedi c'è la bellissima spiaggia bianca di Long Beach lunga 15 Km

Fantastisk läge med underbar utsikt. Den omgivande byn är levande och vänligt. Turister marginellt inslag men snabb utveckling väntar. De små rummen är små med relarivt högt pris men det finns större och med bra läge. Trivsamt på flera sätt men underhåll eftersatt och en del byggkonstruktioner tveksamma ur säkerhetssynpunkt. Mat och dryck finns billiga alternativ i byn om man tycker superslow food tar för lång tid. Känns som detalsstryrning av verksamhet och lite utrymme för personal

Prachtig uitzicht, ruime en comfortabele kamers

We hebben een heel fijn en comfortabel verblijf gehad in dit resort. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en het zwembad was prachtig, de kamers erg fijn, schoon, ruim, met goede bedden, airco en ventilator. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de service was goed, het restaurant was prima. Je zit heerlijk in het rustige San Vicente.
