"Clean and friendly staff great location"

"Pros - the hotel is close to the beach and coffee shops, etc. My room was clean and really nice. My room faced the train, but I didn’t hear it at night. The hotel is super quiet. It was probably one of the more quiet hotels I’ve stayed at. The gym was great with brand new equipment. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and I would definitely stay there again. The staff were great and friendly. Cons - nothing. "

"We loved our stay at Beach Terrace! My husband and I stayed there with our two children in January 2026. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach valet was such an awesome perk! Our kids loved playing with the beach toys and it was so nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit with the chairs and umbrella. It did seem like there weren’t many other children at the hotel the same time as us, hopefully we didn’t kill the vibe for the other guests. The hotel and its views are beautiful. Highly recommend!"

"This was an overall great experience. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Carlsbad/Oceanside area for a few days. The bungalows border Carlsbad, so you’re only a 5 minute drive from downtown Carlsbad. The unit was clean, spacious, and very nice. Great price for an amazing stay, we’ll be back. "
