Take the snorkel trip from the hut where the paddleboards/kayaks are at Bahia Principe Luxury - $40 p/p for an hour and a half trip, where they take you to snorkel at a coral reef. The cost and length of trip were perfect. On the return, they took us along the coast line and provided a narrative of what everything was in Runaway Bay.

What beach? The bay was filled with rocks and at most shin deep. No salt water to swim in. Pathetic ans misleading. $3,000 wasted.
Be sure to bring water shoes with a solid sole on the bottom. There's little rocks and shells when you walk out into the water
