「1500年代に建てられた貴族の館をケンブリッジ大学が買い取り、改装して、集会・宿泊施設として使用している。日本でいえば城に泊まっているようなもので、古い建物とそれを取り巻く英国庭園は素晴らしい。泊まる事が一つのイベントになり得るほどである。石作りの為か、他の部屋の音もあまり聞こえない。一階の部屋に泊まったが、バスタブがあり、給湯量も豊富で良かった。二階の部屋に泊まった同行者の部屋にはバスタブが無く、給湯量もしょぼかったそうである。 外部とは薄いガラス窓一枚であり、6月はセントラルヒーティングが切られているため、天気が悪いと夜とても寒かった。不便な立地の為か朝食がつく。町まではTAXIで13～4ポンド」

「Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,...

「Fantastic little place. Proper country pub, with good food and really good beers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and really helpful. The rooms stable yard style chaletes and round the back, when it's peaceful and quiet. They're spacious, warm and cozy and as well equipped as you could reasonably expect. Serviced daily and if you're staying during the week, at least, they're an absolute bargain.」

「Had a wonderful overnight stay at Eagle Mill - only wish we could have been there longer. Lovely room with lots of great touches. Very comfortable bed and loved the skylight. View from the room over the orchard was delightful. We were looked after superbly by Marie from start to finish, who was extremely accommodating. We will definitely return to stay when next in the area.」

「We had a lovely stay at Little Barham that we were staying at for a family party and trip to Colchester Zoo. It was a super comfortable bed, lovely setup with the zed bed for our son, lovely tea/coffee facilities and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with eggs from the chickens laid that morning. They’re such a lovely couple running it and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs which we are hugely grateful for. 」

「This is a superb setting for Luton airport customers. You are literally in the last bed before the runway. This means it isn't quiet when the planes fly over, but it is superbly comfortable and the hosts go the extra mile with small but winning touches including the ready when you are breakfast for those travelling at odd times. Great stay, but bring your ear plus if you want to pretend you are not staying near the airport.」

Property located away from major roads surrounded by stunning gardens makes for a peaceful nights sleep. 「Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they...
