"The most comfortable hotel in our trip. We slept very well in the two nights we stayed at The Torfin! The amenities were good too. The shower had good water pressure and they even have hair conditioner which, for a girl with long hair like me, is such a great bonus! Also, its only a bus ride away from the city and its away from the loud crowd of Edinburgh (we stayed during Fringe). We loved our stay!"

"Read the reviews before we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at over £1000, was skeptical about the buffet breakfast, room not being cleaned and the pool being closed, had stayed at another village hotel recently and had a great experience. The breakfast was ok, but could have been more choice and a bit better, the rooms were refreshed on our request, surprisingly the pool was closed for our entire stay, which was one the main reasons we booked this hotel, for the kids. The gym was nice. We paid a premium to stay in August, but not worth more than £150 per night in my opinion. Inc breakfast Hermine on reception was very nice."
