「Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.」

「Nice b&b with nice view. Affordable and the staff were friendly :)」

「The food was absolutely top notch, dinner was amazing. Sadly the room, bathroom could most definitely need a complete renovation. The pool, has the lining coming loose, and the jacuzzi had too many chemicals in,and the handrail looks as if it has not been cleaned for ages. Staff were all very pleasant and extremely efficient.」

「Beautiful location in a traditional thatched cottage village. Full of character with two cosy fireplaces. The staff were beyond kind and super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. First class cuisine from chef Nico, with great range of spirits including many local brands.」

「A lovely character property in the heart of Barnstaple. Our room was lovely and very spacious. The owner was extremely helpful and always available when needed.」

「Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. 「The food was very delicious and the rooms were kept clean, so we were very satisfied with our stay.」

「A character historic pub in a nice rural location, although roads are very Devon and narrow in places! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service with a selection of beers with real ale under gravity from the cask. Very popular with diners on a Saturday night. Room reflected the nature of the property but was clean and comfy. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Went with trad English but kippers and salmon on offer.」

「We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary.」

「受付の対応や朝ごはんの対応もよく美味しかった。」
