Future Inn Bristol

6/10 Okay

"I have stayed at the Future Inn on numerous times over the last few years. Initial room offered this time was a dark corner room with a small frosted window, and very dim lights. The staff were helpful in finding an alternative room. Overall the rooms are looking a bit tired and dated with stains on the carpet and chips on the furniture etc. The door needed checking that it closed as you left the room as wouldn't catch without a final pull. The cleaners had obviously not checked the everything when getting the room ready as I found a vape in one of the draws (even though supposed to be non smoking/vaping) and a sock in another draw. The bed is on the soft side but reasonably comfortable. Overall the facilities are okay and the free apples are a nice touch."

"There were some minor issues, but my main complaint is this is the second time I have stayed here and the fire alarm has gone off during the middle of the night. We had to all evacuate the hotel at 1am and stand in the car park for 20 mins whilst the rain came down so heavy everyone was soaked. We then were eventually let back in and had to use the stairs as the lifts were not working. Next day we were told it was because a guest was smoking in a room. Very annoying and to have had this happen twice is extreme bad luck. Other than that the stay was very good, vast majority of the staff are nice and friendly."

"Always a pleasure turning up here, staff always recognise me & greet me well. one of the best nights sleep for a while, mattress was divine & didn't actually want to wake up. Bathroom & room were spacious with good WIFI for working on my Laptop. Shower was strong & perfect temperature & finally in morning had a great breakfast. Sausage, Bacon & Hashbrowns were fantastic. only small criticism is eggs at breakfast. i do like poached or light scrambled. choice could have been there but I didn't ask. overall great stay & in a brilliant position for the City centre bars, restaurant's etc."

"The hotel was perfectly located for my shopping and eating needs, whilst in Bristol. On arrival, the reception team were friendly and accommodating and told me everything that I needed to be checked-in and in my room in under 10 mins. The room was pristine with a good sized bed, desk to work at, and an ironing board to help ensure that I looked immaculate for my night out! The bathroom was spotless, with a good number of bright white towels. The air conditioner was noisy but could be switched off for a peaceful night on the firm bed. I will definitely stay again."

"Only stayed for one night and didn't have breakfast there but the room was lovely. It was during the hot spell so the room was nicely air conditioned on arrival. Had a bath which is a major plus for me and a hair dryer, iron/ironing board and safe amongst the usual things. Would stay again and would recommend"
