"This location was excellent if planning a trip to Hilton Head Island and don't want to stay on the beach. It took about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to beach parking. The location was close to restaurants, shops, mini golf, etc. We also felt very safe. I will mention that directly behind the hotel is a waste water treatment facility. "This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this."
