「Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Cabanas Rio Escondido. The property is beautiful, and the pools were nice for relaxing in after a day exploring La Fortuna. Our family apartment had two balconies - one in front and one in back facing the river. Check-in and check out were easy, and we appreciated the recommendations for transportation and restaurants. 」

「Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. 」

「Cute place on a quiet street that was an easy walk to downtown restaurants and a short drive to hot springs, waterfall, volcano national park and the biggest lake in the country. So many fun adventures in this area!」

「Great little house only minutes from waterfalls, the little village with lots of local dining options. Host gave great communication for checking in and recommendations for places to eat and waterfalls to visiting. 」

「Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! 」

「As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. Being able to easily heat up leftovers from dinner the night before would be a game changer.Second suggestion was a dish drying rack. This makes keeping the units...

「If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). 「We enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment right in the heart of Arenal. Everything was newly renovated and very clean. They even have filtered drinking water onsite. The property managers live nearby and were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!」
