"We loved the hotel and location and especially all the staff (Aria the concierge, Mila and Prabu on front desk, Ayu, Yulia and Cempaka in the restaurant, drivers Gede, Adi and Suma and everyone who kept our room clean and cool). Location is nice and quiet while also being v accessible and walkable. Pistachio restaurant has delish local food options and the tours run by hotel with their own drivers were awesome. We particularly enjoyed the rice terraces and coffee plantation visit."

"The hotel was stunning blending traditional Balinese design with modern convenience. This was exemplified in the hotel rooms which were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurants conveniently located on site."

"Cons - a big resort is being built opposite. Quite noisy and messy construction - swimming pools (two) are too small. Can’t swim properly Pros - Friendly and hospital staff - Good privacy and security (I didn’t lock my door most of the time) - Good landscaping - the one and only restaurant serves good food - 3-min walk to a lot of restaurants anyway "

"I love this villa. The location is great, walking distance to everything. The room was clean and beautiful. Balcony looks over jungle and river. The bathroom was spacious with all the amenities including water for brushing your teeth. The villa also had a mini fridge ,kettle and bottles of water. The staff with ask you via Whatsapp, if you if you want housekeeping. The pool is very clean and nice, right next to the water palace. "

"The book was out of date so when I booked a tour, I still had more to pay for when I arrived. They admitted that tour in the book has not been available since January and it's May now. The food is hit or miss. Overall really gorgeous and incredible property, short walk to Ubud main area and very quiet next to the jungle. Pool is a fun shape, but impossible to swim any laps in because of it and with the mix up on tours, food being just so-so, for the price tag of this place, I really expected better. So leaving at 4/5 stars. Will probably stay somewhere else next time."
