We had a good overall stay at Los Corales Beach Village, with a few minor issues. When we arrived, our original room wasn’t available for the first night, but the staff made it right by upgrading us to a two-bedroom, two-bath villa for the rest of our stay, which was a really nice gesture and gave us plenty of space. The location is excellent—right on a beautiful, clean beach and within easy walking distance of several restaurants and small mini markets. The area did have a lively spring break crowd while we were there, so it could be a bit noisy at times, but that’s more about the timing than the property itself. Breakfast was included and was fine—nothing fancy and not a huge variety, but perfectly adequate to start the day. The pool looked clean and well kept, although we didn’t end up using it because the ocean and weather were so great. The villa itself was comfortable, though there were a couple quirks: one bathroom didn’t have hot water, but the other did, and there was only one TV located on the screened patio, which was a little inconvenient but manageable. The main reason for giving slightly lower marks on property condition is that there was quite a bit of construction happening around the property during our stay. Overall though, it’s a great beachfront location with lots nearby and a good option if you want to stay right in the Los Corales area.

The facility itself is in rough shape. Exterior door only shuts if deadbolted. Hair dryer atrached to wall but no outlet to plug it in to use it. We got bothered all day everyday from locals selling on the beach. Did not always feel safe.

They seem to struggle with reservations that were booked through Expedia. Señora Rosa couldn't initially find our reservation, but then did, but said we couldn't check in 'til 3. When we came back, we were hoping it would be her, but she had just ended her shift and a guy was there, and the room and package he gave us, was NOT the one we booked. We were supposed to have a room with one bed and one sleeper sofa, upstairs with an ocean view, beach towels, a mini bar, daily coffee and water and breakfast included, and we had none of those things. The room wasn't bad, but it wasn't what we booked. He didn't even give me the WiFi password. When I went to ask for it, he was being a smart alec saying, "it's very easy", like I was just supposed to guess it. When I asked him about breakfast, he was adament that we didn't have breakfast included, until I made him check and he saw that in fact, we DID. He clearly only looked at our dates, but didn't bother looking at the details. Contrary to what was stated online, the breakast is at 8, not 6 and there is no restaurant on the property. We had to walk a few minutes down the beach to where the breakfast was, and it was mediocre. All that being said, the property and grounds were nice, but the rooms and pool area are in serious need of rennovations, (our fridge was rusty) and there's only one restaurant next to the hotel. That being said, it was cool to be in a more local area, rather than a secluded all-inclusive.

Our hotel’s beach was very dirty with a lot of seaweeds. The other hotels to the right of our hotel cleaned the seaweeds daily so their beaches were very clean. Our hotel sent their customers to Villa Blanco restaurant for free breakfast. The menu has other items which were not included in our tickets. Hotel management should had been clear about this. Anyways, the food was not good. Room was fairly clean but shower did not work all the time. Room per night was too expensive for the hotel!

Room was ok ,staff only part or worker they was helpful, the other they even said good morning also I asked for coffee Paquette, they send me to the store. No phone in the room, no towels for the beach .everytime I'm need something have to walk to the office was too small, doesn't fit no more than 2 people. What they showed in line picture about the place, is not what you get, in the room and the place, filling apart, no hot water in 1 of my room. What they showed, i was spected he weren't

We stayed here as a family for two nights. Overall, the stay was reasonable and generally met our expectations for the price. The location is convenient, with many restaurants nearby, which makes dining out very easy. The hotel is also close to the beach. However, during our stay, the beach had a lot of seaweed and did not appear very clean. The front desk area is quite small. While the walk from the front desk to the rooms is short, the path is uneven, which makes moving luggage a bit inconvenient. The room facilities are somewhat dated. We experienced an issue with the curtain rod, which was broken and fell down when we tried to close the curtains. At night, music from nearby restaurants can be loud at times, which may be a concern for families with young children or light sleepers. Overall, it is a decent option if you are mainly looking for a convenient location and understand the value-for-money trade-off.

The property manager Rosa is the best!! We stayed at three different villas/apartments due to family joining us for our trip and Rosa was a wonderfull host helping us with our every need. This is the most beautiful stay on the beach literally just a minute from the beach from the quaint villas to minutes from the apartments with a full kitchen with multiple bedrooms. This is a very safe and secure property with Rosa being the best host of anywhere I have ever stayed.

Rosa the property manager is the best manager of anywhere I have ever stayed. These properties have anything anyone would want while staying at DM, from their quaint European villas to their family oriented apartments. This is a safe, secure, guarded property that has beautiful beach views and private pools with very reasonable priceing, this is our third year staying!!!

Very nice villa right on one of the prettiest parts of the beach. Low key and relaxing watching parasailing and little boats. The party crowd is a way up the beach so quieter area with a few close by restaurants. Nice spa and pool. Only complaint is that room safe did not work.
