Great all-inclusive with fantastic staff. We were especially impressed with the unexpected personal butler/concierce service. Cesar was absolutely amazing. The only downside at this resort was the beach which was rocky ... however, the sunrise view from the beach was stunning and the pools at the resort made up for it.

problem with Reservation... After 90 min forced us in van with someone who spoke no english , whom drove us over 2 hrs away where it rained. We came home early. Dreams said they would give us a certificate to come back but once they found out we booked with Expedia they said Expedia wouldhelp us with runied vacation and xtra costs. Expedia no help ..they said we got a hotel stay. BEWARE!!
This is wonderful low key resort but it feels very much like “Cancun lite”… as if they would like to be Cancun but can’t quite figure out how to do it. Poolside drink service is very sparse, night time entertainment has a “second tier” feel to it compared to comparable resorts in Cancun as an example. And housecleaning service was terrible we needed to call every day at 4 just to get our room to be made up. On arrival We ordered extra pillows, from the front desk then through our butler, as we needed to use the fold out sofa, we called for two days asking, we went to the preferred check in for 2 days asking for pillows. We were even told by front desk staff that the resort didn’t have extra pillows on the property. All restaurants are first come first served, no reservations, even through use of butler. So everyone lines up, before the restaurants open at 6 to get seat, then as they go from closed to full in the first few minutes it means service is slow as everyone is ordering at the same time. The normal resort breakfast buffet was far better than the preferred club breakfast restaurant. Steak house and Asian restaurant were good (just slow). Beach is not usable if that’s what your looking for. After all this I actually enjoyed to property and we enjoyed that it wasn’t as busy and crowded as a Cancun resort, I would definitely stay again just monitor your expectations.. now using the Punta Cana airport…that’s another story lol..
Great resort. Rooms had a great view and were clean. Only issue was accessing the ocean, but a 10 minute walk up the beach and you can access no problem. Amazing stay for the family, we’ll be back! Food also very good
Prior to arriving at the Dreams Cap Cana we had read some reviews and quite frankly we were a little nervous. But once we arrived, and we had our first interaction with staff we could see we were in for a great vacation. We had booked for 10 nights and coming from a cold climate we were very much looking forward to the warm weather and relaxing days. Checkin was seamless and they upgraded us to the Premium Area ( nice touch). The rooms were very clean, spacious and our balcony had a nice view of the ocean. The next day we met up with our concierge for the week (Carlos) and he catered to us everyday, always inquiring if everything was going well and if we needed anything else to make our vacation better. When the Premium lounge didn’t have Canadian whiskey, the next day a bottle was in the lounge. The restaurants all had an abundance of different food options and for an all inclusive, the food always kept its flavour and every meal was enjoyable. The bars each offered their own appeal, where you never waited very long for a drink. The staff were always very attentive and polite. The Beach, all the posts we read prior to arriving were accurate about the beach, unfortunately it isn’t very swimable in front of the resort, but just a short walk and the beach’s were absolutely beautiful. For us this wasn’t an issue and we walked on the beach for an hour each day. We would stay here again. Thank you Carlos and the Dreams Cap Cana team, you made our vacation very enjoyable

Overall the property was decent. I have been to a few other dreams and since this one is fairly new there were a few things missing, for the room we needed to call to bring towels, shower caps, and lotion.
They did upgrade us to preferred which was nice and we got the pool view which was also a plus. The room was beautiful and spacious. The restaurants were so so, the one we enjoyed best was the Caribbean restaurant, the other ones I will give a 6/10. The drinks were also so so unless you had a preferred drink which those were good.
I think they just need more time to prepare and learn things about the dreams properties.
The beach had lots of rocks and see-weeds, if you want to enjoy the water beach you will need to walk about 10mins out , the water gets better with less rocks.
I loved my stay at Dreams Cap Cana! The staff was amazing from the moment I arrived — very attentive and friendly.
The buffet had a huge variety of food and everything was delicious. I would definitely return!
The staff at this property was great and our butler Seneida took really good care of my husband and I during our stay for our Honeymoon. During our stay, we only experienced minor inconveniences such as the room not being ready during our 3pm check in time and our room being a little humid at times despite the AC being on. Other than that, we have no complaints and would recommend the resort to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Room was nice and clean if not a little tired. Bed was comfy and it was peaceful. ROom 4105 doesn't have best view but it was fine for 4 days. No hairdryer in room and had to ask twice before it arrived. Premium alcohol cannot be delivered to room and Presidente lager is not the best so I had to stick to the Preferred bar ehich was a bit annoying
Amenities are nice on the surface but the reality is disappointing. We were 'Prefered' guests but the reality is that it doesn't really mean anything. Our butler was friendly and spoke to is daily but we did everything ourselves.
There are not enough cabanas or loungers for everyone and people camp out overnight to reserve everything and then they don't use them all morning. There are towel attendents who warned us that you couldn't reserve beds but the reality is everyone does it and they do not enforce the rule, meaning it's everyone for themselves which is not what you expect in a place like this.
The food is OK but again a la carte places portions are tiny. We preferred the buffet which had a good choice daily. There were massive lines to get into Adian Nad Steakhouse and often wait times of more than an hour.- very disappointing.
Staff are mostly friendly but some were sullen and unhelpful. Some were really nice.
24h room service is a lie. We ordered food and they stalled, then delayed for an hour. We waited 2 hours and it never came. Imo, they just couldn't be bothered
During the check in the “VIP Desk” we were trying to get tour info for, ended a tricky sales program. The beach had too much ricks & seaweeds. Food was not good.
Extremely Unprofessional and Disturbing Experience. Not one room but two rooms.
My stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing and escalated into an unacceptable situation due to a complete lack of professionalism from both staff and management.
From the beginning, guests were openly disrespected, and management allowed it to happen without correction. The front desk receptionist, Jimena, was dismissive and unhelpful when concerns were raised. The manager, Esmeralda, failed to properly address serious issues or de-escalate the situation, instead allowing it to worsen.
After using the valet service (handled by Juan and Endy), $500 in cash was discovered missing from my vehicle…money intended as a birthday gift. This was reported, but the matter was not taken seriously and no accountability was offered.
We had extended our checkout time because we needed additional time to shop outside the hotel. Despite this being communicated, security prevented us from leaving the property, effectively holding us against our will. Only after I stated that I would begin recording did their behavior suddenly change. At that point, staff attempted to offer refunds, an extended stay, and even a free room. I declined all offers and contacted my attorney.
No guest should ever feel disrespected, ignored, or confined. This was not hospitality it was a serious failure of professionalism and management. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here.
