The is one of the most special places with truly magnificent views, outstanding service, and with a restaurant with amazing food with perfect place to be a sunset. We were at the pool in the afternoons and really loved our stay there.

The place was very nice, clean, beautiful beach and people very friendly as well, but like “the bell” name, that was bother me at night, wake me up many times and the hotel location at the hills area, so need strong legs 😅

I had a beautiful & memorable stay in this exquisite old town Puerto Vallarta hotel. Incredible views, spacious room, unforgettable balcony/patio, and a glorious Italian restaurant. The service was fantastic.

This hotel was an amazing last minute find! So clean, the bed very comfortable and the room is very spacious with beautiful old and new decor. The shower is hot and good pressure. The church bell is frequent but I loved it, I found it to be a beautiful sound and a reminder of the time. I slept with earplugs and did not hear it once. The view is incredible and you are just high enough to be away from the hustle bustle yet still able to walk to everything. The front desk staff Emanuel and Daniela were very helpful and friendly. I had the breakfast brought to my room and it was very tasty and fresh! I wish I could have stayed longer!

If you want to feel like you are living in million-dollar view with the most charming rooms and dining, this is the place. Incredible vista and views across the old town to the ocean. Wonderful room with a balcony and traditional furnishings which reflected the high-end charm of the hotel. Dinner overlooking the old town, was breathtaking. We loved the sound of the church bells, they are loud and literally in front of the hotel, but that’s part of its charm, and we didn’t mind the steps down to the lower part of town, the climb up is well worth it.

We had the best stay at this hotel! The room “Guadalupana” was beautiful, the staff was helpful and kind and the location couldn’t get better. We loved staying at a smaller property, as most days we had the pool to ourselves. They do not lie about the church bells though. They also ring during the middle of the night if you are a light sleeper. However, if we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Vallarta we will book this hotel again.

the kindest service the most beautiful setting. up on the hill just a few blocks from the tourist beach chaos with extensive views of the pacifica. the sounds of the amazing church bells are like a lullaby along with the sounds of the ocean and the birds. the views and the homes up here are breathtaking. i've stayed in several rooms and they all are special in their own way. everyone who works here has been kind and helpful (i can be difficult too and no one get annoyed with me.) i wish i never had to leave! they have a lovely breakfast too.

This is by far one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The views are outstanding and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. If you are a light sleeper the bells may keep you up at night. But I found them to be quite charming

Beautiful boutique hotel in heart of Vallarta

This boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Vallarta. It shares the same space as La Cappella restaurant. Our room was spacious and we had an amazing view of the bay. I have read reviews about people complaining about the church bells but that did not bother us. You will have to deal with some noise from the restaurant on Sunday mornings if you were wanting to sleep in. In the end we dealt it was great value and ticked off all the boxes.

Great place with a few issues

Really liked the place, but a couple of issues make it difficult. Biggest problem is that church bells ring all night at random times making it very difficult to sleep. Second issue is hot water, of which it is difficult to get a good, hot shower. Rooms are very nice and the service was outstanding.
