"The staff was very friendly and helpful. It matches with the description. But a lot of things didn’t work when I arrive, the wifi didn’t work, no TV signal, the stove top didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work. The staff did respond quickly to come fix things. The good side is the AC, shower, laundry washer and dryer all works great. There was only two rolls of toilet paper for me, for the whole 15 days, and there is no cleaning for the whole duration of the booking, which matches with the...

"Firstly the complex address is not posted on the building, making it almost impossible to find. Complex is adjacent to the main highway, therefore difficult to sleep even with the windows closed. (Not great in 30 degree weather.) Unit is not a spacious as seen in pictures. Poor management service, only received one maid service in 18 days. Safe was never repaired despite repeated requests. Minimal kitchen supplies: four knives, forks & spoons, same with dishes. Dish clothes were so old there...

Jolee and I stayed here 6 nights for an amazing great price. I will be coming back and with friends next time. You are walking distance from all the restaurants, beaches, and dolphins. If you purchase any of the Xcarat (i would also highly recommend) packages, you will have to walk to the dreams resort which is about a 5 minute walk. The owners of this B&B are great individuals and very helpful and knowledgable about the area. We were having issues getting our taxi on the way back to the...

Tan Ik Beachfront Condos

Akumal

10/10 Excellent

We stayed at the Tan Ik Condos for 8 nights in November (we booked 9, but stayed overnight midweek elsewhere). It was an absolutely amazing stay! The staff onsite during the days were incredibly friendly and hard working. Both the rooms and the grounds were well taken care of. The beach area, while being small, is very private and beautiful. If entering the water, it is advised to either walk up or down the beach a little before entering. I would recommend this location based on its location,...

Absolutely loved this property! The location is top notch, it’s super close to literally EVERYTHING you need! Also the room has a fridge, a microwave, and I think a coffee maker? (I don’t drink coffee but I think I remember seeing one) Staff was also extremely nice and accommodating, shout to Ana at the front desk! As a solo woman traveler, this property made me feel extremely safe, especially since all the staff were women! This will probably be my go to spot when I’m in PDC! I WILL BE BACK...

This is one of my favorite hotels in the whole PDC, Quintana Roo area of Mexico. This was my third time staying here and as a solo female traveler I always feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. I love the staff here; they're amazing! The rooftop is one of the most beautiful and peaceful spaces I've come across here. Steps away from the beach and a block away from 5th avenue, yet very quiet. Communication with the host has always been great for me. I love it here and I'm sure I will be back very...

Everything as is pictured. The apartment is located a block away from Quinta Avenida and across from two public beach access, Mamita’s beach and 38 beach. The building is new and modern with a tulum:boho esthetic. The unity was as pictured and had strong and cold a/c and a functional bathroom with no weird smells. Our unit was a studio so it did not have a formal dining area. We did not have a view and our balcony did not have any furniture. Our view was another condo building. Also, the a/c...

10/10 Excellent

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was overall a very pleasant stay. It’s a few blocks from the beaches and in the other direction the shopping street with everything you could imagine. The building seems brand new, all the amenities were well kept and beautiful. The walls were paper thin, if you value quiet then I’m not sure if this is the place. The rooftop pool is one of the best in the surrounding areas, very large with ample seating and lounges. Overall super nice spot, especially for the...
