「Villa is large and broken into several apartments. 3 with 1 bedroom, 1 with 2 bedrooms and 1 with 3 bedrooms. Main floor has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a good layout for us since we had 15 people stay there. However, pool was not usuable until the last day due to "algae problem" and the main kitchen dishwasher wasnt functioning at all. Stairs to 2 apartments were very dark and difficult to navigate at night. Also 1 bathroom downstairs only provided cold water in the shower. Very rustic...

「From arrival to departure (Sept 10-20, 2025) our stay at Villa Poggio was WONDERFUL! It's a very large villa that easily accommodated our adult group of 12. There were such spectacular views from every room and all around the grounds. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area worked well for us with two refrigerators being perfect for a large group. We did prepare many of our own meals. Well appointed rooms and super comfortable beds. We are hoping to return with friends in the next year or two. 」

「Marilia was a gem. She cooked us a delicious dinner the day we arrived. She arranged for a cooking class on site and connected us with a driver for our day trips. She went over and above to make our stay wonderful. The house was built in 1050 BC and was a treasure to stay in. Many features have been left when modernizing. The cellar is original and a great place to visit or eat while you are there. The views are spectacular. We cannot recommend this house enough!」

「Niccolo was a great host and was easy to communicate with prior to the trip. House was spacious and clean and the property was beautiful. We took advantage of the cooking class with Barbara (extra cost) and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Only suggestion would be to rent a car- getting cabs/rideshare to and from was a challenge although we were able to walk 20 min to the train station」
