「Marilia was a gem. She cooked us a delicious dinner the day we arrived. She arranged for a cooking class on site and connected us with a driver for our day trips. She went over and above to make our stay wonderful. The house was built in 1050 BC and was a treasure to stay in. Many features have been left when modernizing. The cellar is original and a great place to visit or eat while you are there. The views are spectacular. We cannot recommend this house enough!」

「The house is big except for the kitchen which is small. The bathrooms have been redone and the bedrooms all have an individual AC unit. In extreme heat, the downstairs will be hot since only the bedrooms have AC. The game room is nice and the backyard is nice (again if not too hot). It is an old property that has some updates to it. it could use some love and attention to furnishings and decorations to make it feel nicer and more guest friendly. 「The house was great. Very clean. It had everything we needed and anything we didn’t have, the owners quickly sorted. The location is great with many little restaurants dotted around and only 30 minutes to Florence. Would love to stay there again if the pool was warmer. 」

「Villa is large and broken into several apartments. 3 with 1 bedroom, 1 with 2 bedrooms and 1 with 3 bedrooms. Main floor has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was a good layout for us since we had 15 people stay there. However, pool was not usuable until the last day due to "algae problem" and the main kitchen dishwasher wasnt functioning at all. Stairs to 2 apartments were very dark and difficult to navigate at night. Also 1 bathroom downstairs only provided cold water in the shower. Very rustic...
