We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. 「Beautiful area, outside of facility looks dated, but that’s not realistic to change. Inside has had a nice update. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had an inconsiderate and noisy person upstairs over us, just a matter of who is there. We would surely stay here again.」
「The room was very clean and quite and comfortable bed. The interior was very clean. My door to the courtyard had a broken handle and an exterior entrance had a broken lock.
Grass in courtyard and around the exterior of the hotel needed trimming. Very reasonable price.」
「A very old historic hotel. Has the oldest elevator in VT. Charming. Nice gardens. Guest can not use elevator and all rooms are upstairs. so if you have any mobility issues its a problem. 」

「Recently renovated cabins with all brand new modern amenities. Infrared Saunas, Outdoor Hot Tubs, Firepits, and a separate house with gym... Alot of new things being built (inground pool, bar area, restaurant) I will definitely be back up in the future to see the growth. The new ownership is truly capitalizing on this gorgeous property.」

「Our room had all the amenities of home-well stocked kitchen, counter and table seats, supply of towels for several days, comfy bed, large closets,hot shower with good pressure, TVs in LR and BR, quick assistance from helpful staff (stuck blinds and recommendations for hiking and shopping). Heated pool was great and we had a thorough tour of the lake from Finn, our pontoon boat captain. Grab and go daily breakfast was perfect and on site restaurant with live entertainment was also nice....

「The Summit Lodge is a gem! Lots of things to do......pool, got tub, billiards, darts, and lawn games. The building is quaint and has a "homey" feel. The owners were super pleasant and friendly. We were there for DH bike racing at Killington and this place was nice and close! We highly recommend this place.」
