Enchanting Fawn Chalet in the Pines
Fawn Chalet is a private second story one bedroom suite in the pines of Prescott, just 8 minutes from downtown. This sparkling clean unit is complete with a kitchen and all the essentials at your fingertips, a washer and dryer in the suite, and a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub. Enjoy miles of Ponderosa pines treetop views from the private balcony or hike/bike the trails just around the corner from this comfortable and elegant secluded mountain retreat. Host lives in attached home.
Our suite is an approximately 600 square foot, one bedroom apartment with a private balcony overlooking Prescott National Forest. It is a private space with a separate entrance. There is a flight of stairs with a sturdy handrail up to this suite. There is a stairlift available for accessibility up the stairs. Although the host lives in the remainder of the home, the design assures locked privacy for both host and guest and they will not come in contact with one another unless the guest wants contact for some specific reason.
The kitchen is equipped with a good-sized microwave/convection oven, as well as a refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker with non-coffee options, blender, toaster, electric hot water kettle, two-top hot plate that serves as a small stove, garbage disposal, and all the essentials for cooking including spices, sugar, and oil. There is a water purification system throughout the entire home, so there is no need to use bottled water while here.
The living room includes a large screen smart Roku TV with access to Sling, Netflix, YouTube etc. and a firm pull-out queen size bed in the comfortable sofa. The lamp has a USB charging port on the base for phone and laptop charging (as does the bedroom lamp).
There is central air conditioning and heating throughout, although a small heater can be left on at the base of the entry stairs where it tends to be chilly. Another decorative heater is in front of the fireplace mantle that also puts out heat and has a nice fireplace effect.
The luxurious bathroom includes a very deep soaking tub and two sinks. All the countertops in the suite are marble and the unit is new as of 2024 and clean. There is a Solatube in the bathroom that provides plenty of natural light during the day.
The bedroom is not huge but is equipped with a queen size bed, extra linens, pillows, and blankets, and a washer and dryer next to a closet in the room. There is a short dormer walkway to a window for egress in an emergency.
There is a double locked door that separates the Host's living space in two places from the Guest's, and the suite does not face the Host's space on any side.
Personal Note: As the Host, I want everything to be just as you would like it to be. If you have questions you can contact me at any time, but I won't disturb your privacy otherwise. Please do let me know if you need anything at all and I will do my best to provide it for you.
The entire apartment suite with separate entrance, approximately 600 sq.ft. is for guest use and is completely private.
There is a detailed physical manual in the suite with many suggestions for Prescott activities, restaurants, and attractions. Please take a look when you arrive.
Prescott is known as "Everybody's Hometown", as well as "Arizona's Christmas City". Every season of the year has its charms and special activities here in our Mile High City. Our events begin with the Whiskey Row New Year's Eve "Boot Drop" and move on into the year with the many Arts and Crafts shows and summer concerts on "The Square" (Prescott Courthouse Square). Prescott's Frontier Days in July include "The World's Oldest Rodeo" and in October the streets are filled with goblins trick-or-treating the historic downtown neighborhoods, particularly on Mt. Vernon Street. The year comes to an end with the annual Christmas parade, Courthouse lighting, and Acker Night (music and cookies hosted by many businesses on and around "The Square"). Prescott has something for everyone to enjoy. Try some of our favorite restaurants or browse the shops on the square, rent a kayak and paddle around Goldwater Lake just a couple of miles from the chalet. Or just stay in and relax in this getaway from the world. Wi-Fi and cable TV provided.

Great stay in amazing location. Super clean and cozy and hosts were kind and very helpful. Everything from check in to the amenities, quality/condition of the furniture, kitchen, etc., layout, and location were excellent. We were there for a quick getaway for some hiking and relaxing in the pines. Fawn Chalet was the perfect spot for two. Highly recommend.
Lori is such a welcoming host. The chalet is beautifully appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony that’s perfect for relaxing. The home and neighborhood are gorgeous. Ten stars—highly recommend!
The Owner/Host thought of everything for the comfort of their guests. The location is nestled among the pine but only a 5 minute drive to historic downtown. This was truly a great experience and does not disappoint.
The property exceeded our expectations. It was as clean as it could be and was well appointed. Five stars in all areas! Would love to stay again!

The property is decorated so nicely as well as fresh and clean. It has everything for a comfortable stay. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience. We wouldn't change a thing.
Very clean, neat and comfortable chalet this was a phenomenal stay for 2 guests everything is well placed and there’s so many nice extras in the place that make the stay that much better. There are bath salts if you want to soak in the tub, branded hand soaps and shampoos and a very clean feel. I highly recommend this chalet especially for a couples getaway.
Tucked away in the Prescott pines is this charming gem. The home is equipped with everything you’d need to stay in and relax. Beautiful decor. The host was extremely receptive and welcoming! Highly recommend!
A very quiet apartment above the garage in a forested neighborhood. Every detail was in tune with the name Fawn Chalet. Liked having hiking trails close by. Five Star all the way
My significant other and I really enjoyed our stay at Fawn Chalet for an overnight getaway from Phoenix. It was very clean, newly updated and quaintly set in the trees. The amenities of treats upon welcome and a functional kitchen were also very nice. I would definitely return!
Everything I was looking for. Pictures and description were spot on. Close to everything, yet private and quiet. Clean, clean clean. Highly recommend!!
We loved everything about this property. The views are breathtaking and the balcony is a perfect spot to have morning coffee. Top of the line interior that has been tastefully decorated. They put together a most impressive information binder filled with area activities, attractions, restaurants and brochures. We’ll be back again.
This home was exactly as advertised. Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and overall just adorable. So many thoughtful details. Highly recommend. Thank you!
It was a short visit, but the Chalet was great. It was very clean and well arranged. The Chalet, as advertised, is above the garage of a home. The entrance is private though and you never feel like you're not in your own condo. Finally, communication with the owners was very good. They were very responsive. My daughter is going to school in Prescott and I'll be trying to stay at the Chalet every time we visit.
Despite the property having other dwellings nearby, it felt very private and was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The unit itself was very comfortable for the two of us, especially the bathroom . Situated adjacent to the Prescott National Forest, we felt quite close to the woods and ventured out to a variety of places of stunning natural beauty that were quite close to the property. In addition, downtown Prescott was a short distance away with all of its history and charm.Situated Situated
This 48-getaway was EXACTLY what my mom and I needed. It was the best “out-of-town” staycation where we were about to escape the Phoenix heat and scenery, and experience the northern greenery. Lori is so kind which you will feel throughout the space. Fully equipped with kitchen supplies and full fridge/freezer. We were even able to get groceries delivered with ease. If you’re looking for solo retreat for writing, couple’s staycation, or a mom/daughter adventure, look no further than Enchanting Fawn Chalet in the Pines!
This is a perfect little spot for one or two people looking to visit Prescott. Highly recommend!

This is a quality Air B&B. The Host provided every comfort that we needed or wanted for our stay. It was a pleasure to stay here, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers. I wish we could have stayed longer.
A very new and clean one bedroom, one bath apartment, above the garage of a beautiful home in the Prescott, AZ pines. Has a great view from the deck. We enjoyed the cool weather playing pickle ball at Pioneer Park, visited Whiskey Row downtown, golfed 9 holes in Dewey, AZ & had some great meals at Gurley Street Grill & Marino's Mob (highly recommend both). Lori was a great host and even supplied some decaf coffee at my request.
