Clean rooms. The layout of the building was nice, Breakfast was good, would love to have something other than orange juice to drink. The Ice machine wasn't working on my floor. With that said I received plenty of ice when I asked for it! The tub in my room didn't drain well, so while taking a shower, I had to stand in water.

We chose this hotel for the price and location. Not in downtown but close enough to be able to drive into downtown and all neighborhoods. Check in was a joke. There was one person working the front desk and there was a line of 8-9 patrons trying to check in at 3pm. The cookie didn’t make up for it. The hot tub was broken that weekend with a sign stating they were working on it. The towels poolside had a funny smell. The room was spacious for 4 people and 2 double beds. BUT the water pressure sucked. The room was either hot or freezing. And it didn’t help that there was a fighting couple on our floor and then also a man that roamed the hotel but lingered at the bar with the nastiest attitude. Hotel staff didn’t cut him off, he reeked of booze. Overall, this hotel is a skip if we ever return to the Phoenix area.

The staff at the front desk were warm and friendly. I mentioned that our hot air balloon ride was cancelled and it was the reason I traveled to Arizona for my birthday. When we returned to our room there was a lovely gift from the GM! While it didn’t make up for my disappointment of not being able to ride the hot air balloon, it certainly made my day, I was truly grateful that I only mentioned my birthday in passing but the staff were listening. They truly lived up to the Hilton promise of filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.
