「We sat in the dining room talking and drinking (what I considered to be a really good) complimentary Porto until after midnight. The building itself is straight out of another era with thick walls of rock but still with all the amenities you would want. This was the best stay I’ve had in Portugal so far. 」

The entire house, which only has 6 rooms, and garden were very homely and tasteful, and we were very comfortable during our stay. And everyone working there was welcoming, friendly and helpful. 「We had a wonderful stay at Quinte Verde Sintra. Hotel (or Bed and Breakfast?) grounds are wonderful and you can see the Moorish Castle from the pool - breathtaking views! You do need a car though or Uber (or both if you are not comfortable driving around the Sintra palaces in narrow and busy streets). Owner was very welcoming and informative on how to enjoy our stay and park our cars, breakfast (optional) was a great way to start the day. Thank you very much, we will be back!」
