22 Oporto Guesthouse was born in 2017 to offer accommodation in the city of Porto
Located 800m from the historic center of Porto, next to the Faria Guimarães Metro station, it allows quick and easy access to the main sights of the city.
This private house, carefully decorated, was created for those who appreciate comfort and privacy combined with a warm and familiar atmosphere.
Completely refurbished, it has 4 bedrooms all with private bathroom, living and dining room, kitchen, garden and free WIFI network throughout the house.
All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and wardrobe. The private bathrooms include a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
Next to 22 Oporto Guesthouse there is a Portuguese food restaurant and a grocery store.

Great spot in Proto

We had great stay in this property. The property owner met us on check-in and provided a very comprehensive review of his home. This home had everything we needed including an awesome back patio. Would highly recommend this property and definitely recommend eating at the restaurant right around the corner.

This is a perfect location for a family to stay and enjoy Porto and Fernando is an exceptional host. I let Fernando when we were arriving and he met us at the property to let us in and give us a complete tour and overview of the house. He also suggested local business and attractions that were worth visiting. The property had everything we needed to stay comfortably and it was very convenient to the metro and to downtown attractions. We would definitely stay here if we visit Porto again.

Porto Perfect

We had a fabulous stay at Fernando’s place in Porto. The place was very clean and accommodating with a separate bathroom in all 4 bedrooms. Fernando met us at check-in and prepared a great tour site we used frequently during our trip. The location was perfect as we could walk to everything. If anyone is visiting Porto, this is a great place to stay.

Lovely House for a Group

This full house rental (4 bedrooms, 4 baths) is conveniently located. Fernando, the host if amazing. He was there to greet us and give us lots of information to make our stay special. The house is immaculate and has all the amenities you could ask for. Would recommend to anyone looking for a property for a group.

Lovely place

This was very close to many sites we chose to visit, close to a good market and many local restaurants. We walked most of the time but Ubers were very affordable. Fernando is a great host, property clean and well supplied, nice patio in back. It’s on a busy street but windows and shutters effectively blocked the noise. Fernando was extremely helpful with great information on the city.

First of all, compared to the 4 other rentals we'd booked, the host of this unit, Fernando was fabulous. He personally met us at the unit, showed us the home and explained everything.

Fantastic Space

This pretty was the height of luxury! Our family of 7 fit perfectly. The beds were large and comfy and the bathrooms were big. The common room area was stunning and the entire place was super clean. We also enjoyed using a code instead of a key (easier with a family of 7 people). The terrace outside was also beautiful and a good place to relax with a glass of wine and play cards. The host was fantastic and responded quickly when we needed his assistance.

Amazing property!

Fernando was a great host who provided great material about the rental property and surrounding areas prior to our visit. He communicated with us ahead of our visit and was there to greet us upon arrival. The property itself was exactly as pictured in the listing and was everything we ever could have needed. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday!

Great Host

Fernando is a great host and has created a useful online "guide" for his guests. The house has everything one would need--including parking in the next door garage. Easy to get to from other locations in Portugal.

Absolutely the Best

Great location close to metro, and everything you need is nearby. Fernando the owner is super helpful. Porto is a gem location, we stayed 2 weeks and didn't see it all. LA Festa de Sao Joao was amazing. The Portuguese people are wonderful and real friendly. You will be surprised how nice folks are. Enjoy your stay.

Fernando’s home was excellently suited for our group of 6 adults. Each space was an oasis- complete with suites and private bathrooms. Perfect in Porto

This was a lovely property for a family reunion! We were 6 people. This place has 4 bedrooms with a bathroom in each one, which was awesome. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a small private garden! Everything was impeccably clean and the property is modern (renovated recently) and comfortable. The host Fernando is very nice and super helpful. He provided maps and information on activities to do. It was really a perfect place!

An outstanding hospitality experience

The property is very well maintained Superb location to walk to the center city in 20 min. Loved the backyard, small grocery store in 5 min walking Host Fernando was simply a delight to work with. Personally involved to make sure we were comfortable in every step. He has created this digital handbook which pretty much reads your mind and gets you the answers. This is a highly recommended home away from home.

Pride of Ownership!

This was perfect for hour needs. We had two teens and my parents so everyone had their own room and bathroom! This was key and made for a very comfortable two days in Porto. Fernando was an outstanding host who met us at the guest house when we arrived- he gave us a tour and recommended a place to grab a quick and inexpensive meal- it was outstanding and a fun family style option. Fernando also saved the day when we realized we needed to print our train tickets! He was very kind and brought them to us when we were checking out. Fantastic stay!! Thanks so much Fernando!!

I would like to use this opportunity to leave raving review and say thank you to Fernando, our host. I can give this experience 7 stars out of 5 possible. House is very spacy and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen are very modern and have everything you need. Beautiful garden is waiting for you to rest after full day of exploring Porto or to have you coffee before starting your day. Perfect location with walking distance to all activities in Porto. Level of communication and responsiveness are on highest level possible. Will never stay in any other place when coming to Porto. Vacation

My husband and I and our five adult children (including partners) stayed for three nights. The place was very clean and well-appointed. There are four bedrooms each with its own full bath, which was a luxury. This would be a great place to stay with friends or family where each couple (or single) would have much privacy. The communal space was nice with a lovely enclosed garden with tables and chairs out back. We enjoyed playing games while drinking coffee or port in that space.(depending on the time of day.) We enjoyed lovely weather. The host was wonderful. He met us and shared information he has compiled about the neighborhood, the city and beyond. Many great recommendations all in a digital format. He was also very kind when we needed a few extra hours to get out on the last day due to illness.

Amazing! Better than 5⭐

The property is great but first and foremost, Fernando was an amazing host and that is our #1 priority when we travel. Fernando met us at the guest house when we arrived- he gave us a tour of the house and provided us with all the detail to make our stay as great as it was. Since we had a busy travel day, he gave us a great recommendation to grab a quick and inexpensive meal right next door. He created a personalized digital “Guidebook” which became our personal Porto tour guide, it was detailed, linked Google Maps which made getting around easy, provided some great sightseeing/dining experiences and on top of that it was super easy to use. These are the little things that sets Fernando above most other hosts. The property is exactly as advertised; large rooms, private bedrooms with amazing showers, comfy beds (pillows could of been a bit softer but that is a personal preference) very clean and we loved the outdoor area which was great for having drinks and playing cards after a great day in Porto. I would highly recommend this home and when we return to Porto, this will be where we stay. Thank you for everything Fernando!
