It was just my GF and me - we'd been to Portland previously and stayed outside the city and couldn't get in because of horrible traffic - we thought this time, we'd stay inside the city and avoid all that.
The Good - It's a separate house behind the owner's property with a driveway spot for the rental car. It looks to be new construction that could accommodate up to 3 couples or a small family. Nice little kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of pots/pans/silverware/plates. There's a garden spot out back with lots of flowers that my GF love sitting amongst. The individual air conditioners worked very well. A variety of little restaurants/bars that, if you're young, are within walking distance or, if you're getting on in years like we are, are just a short drive away. The host was very responsive -T/ I asked about an ironing board and iron, which wasn't there, but magically appeared later. Even though he lives in a separate house in front, he was friendly and not obtrusive in any way. We usually saw him only when he was watering the plants.
The Bad: Nothing, really. There's a light rail stop nearby as well as a service station next door. You can hear the bells, but they are not obnoxiously loud and certainly gave us no problems.
Only thing missing was a dishwasher, but I washed dishes by hand until I was 30, so personally it wasn't a big deal for me.
