Experience a delightful one-bedroom stone barn conversion that oozes charm and character. With its original beams in the bedroom and cozy, welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect countryside escape in the heart of the South Hams.



Ideally situated for exploring both coast and countryside, Stable Cottage is just 2.5 miles from the stunning South Devon coastline and 8.5 miles from the rugged beauty of Dartmoor. Whether you're a beach lover, a keen walker, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the perfect base.



Stable Cottage is designed for comfort, the open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, electric stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and washer/dryer. The living space is warm and cozy in the cooler months, making it a great year-round getaway.



For those working remotely or in need of a fast Wi-Fi connection the full-sized desk and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi (190 Mbps download speed) ensure a seamless experience. Pilates classes are available at $8 a lesson with 1:1's available on request. Please inquire for more information.



Game, set, relax! Guests will also have use of shared tennis court (available when not in use by guests at the neighboring barn conversion). We welcome longer stays of up to 6 months during the winter months.

A perfect hideaway to explore beautiful coastal walking near to Plymouth

Lovely quiet “farm” estate , fresh, comfortable, clean and far from the madding crowds! Isolated location not for everyone but I loved it 😀. Perfect for couple or, like me, a solo traveller No issues to report but bathroom would benefit from more modern walk-in shower suite rather than current bath plus shower attachment facility. Not sure how many folks these days prefer a bath to a shower.
